I don't like the spare tire on the cargo door unless it's a very aggressive, bigger tire that won't fit in the cargo well. Maybe works with a Sasquatch model.
A 1.5L hybrid or 2.0L choice in the Big Bend and OBX would be nice.

Looks more like the big Bronco. Hope they can increase the interior space a little without increasing the overall dimensions too much. Bronco Sport is perfect size; fits in the garage without a problem. I would expect a hybrid, probably using the same hybrid system as Maverick, 2.5 Atkinson engine and ecvt.

I don’t like the seeming squared off look. I much prefer the Look of the current design. Making it more square would be less distinctive. I don’t want it to look just like a smaller version of the bigger Bronco.

I can’t help but think of the current Hyundai Sante Fe. It’s atrociously ugly.

Some redesigns work when the original is just meh. But when the original is already good then redesigns are risky.

When I think of the Mustang.
1964-66 = good
1967-68 = great
1969-70 = good
1971-73 = okay
1974-1998 = meh
1999-2004 = okay
2005-2009 = good
2010-2023 = great
2024- = okay

Definitely looks bigger than the current Sport. Looks like the offspring of a Sport and full size Bronco. Maybe Ford is coming out with an additional vehicle to the Bronco sub-brand. Ford needs a midsize replacement since the Edge is discontinued, and that might fit the bill. Thinking this is more like the Ford Everest that is currently sold in markets outside the US, than the next Sport.

The Edge is 11.5 " longer. I think most people like me love the BS size.

For sure and not saying there isn’t customers who do not like the current size. The gap or lack of an available midsize is definitely not ideal for Ford. There are potential customers who like the Sport, but want a bigger vehicle and also don’t want to go up to the Explorer. They will look elsewhere since Ford doesn’t have anything to offer. If the spy photo is an in between size, the dims will not necessarily be the same as the outgoing Edge.

Look closely

, look close, no fuel filler panel , no exhaust, solid front under hood.
this probably is an E/V prototype SUV.Tire on back would make space for Battery.
There is a fuel filler door, pretty much where the current one is, but the grill looks almost solid like an e/v. I’m hoping for a hybrid but I don’t know if the batteries would go where the spare is, bad weight distribution.

I’m hoping thats not the next gen design. But as was mentioned upthread it could be a wholly new Bronco model if Ford is indeed treating Bronco as its own subdivision.
