Sales of Ford’s Bronco Sport continue to expand, while sourcing even more customer from outside of Ford. Bronco Sport sales totaled 14,947 in May. This is 6.9 percent higher than April and the vehicle’s best sales performance since launch. We are also seeing higher conquests, with 63 percent now coming from vehicles outside of the Ford brand. Bronco Sport’s No. 1 source of sales is coming from Jeep.

Majority of conquest coming from jeep...and this is the SPORT not even the full Bronco. Once those hit the floor, night night jeep. Gonna be a major shift. Hands down jeep still builds a good product but to me it's a rough riding cool factor. Bronco is the full package.

Yup. That's what two weeks of production halt will do to the numbers.

Wow, 59,703-52,159=7,544. That's all there is out on lots and/or in transit and the 6,730 were just built after May 18th since production stopped for the first half of May. If June is similar, then 7,544 existing + production 6,730 - 14,947 sold = -673 on lots... Sold. Out.

Production probably be super low in June too. And who know what additional shut downs will occur in coming months.

I agree those big broncos with the doors off look legendary.

So what is Ford going to do? Run Bronco Sport commercials during prime showing Badlands in various off road adventures. Then offer $1,000 rebates. Ppl will say hey that looks like a cool vehicle call dealer and be told nope don't have any of those and can't get any either.

Yeah, that new incentive plan is a weird gamble. They took away the best offer (IMO), the 0% and $500 cashback. Then made the $500 contingent on a trade in with 1.9%. Then stacked $1,000 on to the purchases for anyone willing to wait 6, 9, more? months to get a build. $1,000 doesn't matter to someone that needs a vehicle now and it won't cover a rental for the wait time.

I'm thankful for whatever stars crossed to let me find mine, in the exact configuration I wanted to order, built and sitting on a lot with a green window sticker. Someone missed out. But it isn't just Ford or Broncos. I see new cars everywhere. Everything is low inventory right at a time when everyone seems to be (in part using stimulus money) getting a new vehicle.

Solid points...but if you need a vehicle now, no incentive will make a difference. Most manufacturers are facing the same uphill battle. I empathize with all who are lost down the rabbit hole. It's a lose lose scenario.

If you need a vehicle now and we have many on this forum in that boat it is a very bad situation due to low supply and panic buying. Cars are now the new toilet paper buy buy buy....and no inventory...
