2026 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands exhaust pin but no exhaust hanger

While under my new Bronco Sport I noticed an exhaust pin but no hanger to support it. Did Ford forget to put one there. I have looked under a 2025 Badlands with GPF and it had the hanger, and so did a 1.5 Bronco Sport Ecoboost. MIne does not have the GPF but I think Ford forgot to put the hanger there. What do you all see on yours?

Just go to the dealer and if they have other 2026 Sports look underneath.
Also check with the parts department and have them look up the exhaust system parts for the 2026 Sport and if the hanger is on the parts list you can have the dealer to get it for you.

Yeah next time I'm in the city I'll have to do that, our small dealer over here doesn't have any 2026 models yet.

My wife's '26 Badlands is exactly like yours, no hanger.

Ah, then perhaps only those Badland with the gas particulate filters get them. Apparently the 25's and 26's without that apparatus don't have them. I find it weird to see an exhaust pin there with no hanger. I went my local Ford in this small town I live and had them order one due to seeing the hanger on the '25 Badlands with the GPF and a '25 Bronco Sport Outerbanks with one too. Their schematic didn't show one for mine so they checked the vin on the Badlands they had on their lot, that did have the hanger, and it didn't show one for that model either. Anyway, once my dealer gets it, I just put in on. Thanks for all the help. I figure it can't hurt to have some extra support there.

Look at the opposite side of the pipe (from your picture, the back side of the "pin"). Looks like the "pin" is welded to the pipe and to the body?

It does look that way from my picture, but it is just welded to the exhaust pipe. It is just a floating pin there in the middle of the exhaust with no support. Ford engineers decided on no hanger for this particular set up on the Badlands. It is supported further by the engine and in the rear where the muffler is and the exhaust tips. It feels fairly firm when I checked for excessive play.

Can you take a pic of your entire exhaust please? Does yours have the stupid "valve" in it?

Thanks. I just wanted to see if there were any changes between the two model years of 2025 and 2026. Ford likes to do model year changes that seem quirky.
