Not an upcoming competitor at all….this is fully EV, unless Jeep gave up on that all together and redesigned the platform.
I'd consider any small/crossover/suv that's the same size and marketed as an off-road vehicle competition to the BS.

Will have to see the whole picture. At first glance it looks about right for a small SUV.

I think it looks sweet. Electric only isn’t my cup of tea but if it ever gets a gas engine it would be tempting to look at.
it looks good but so long as Stellantis is in charge of Jeep….stay the fuck away

This is also true. I don’t know much about cars from a mechanical standpoint but have heard from multiple people (main one being my old man) that Jeeps tend to be poorly made.
To be fair, there are also a good amount of issues with most brands…

The VW Scout is likely a better choice for consumers that really want an EV Ute.

I like it from the few pictures that were taken. I think I prefer the Bronco liftgate to the swing door on the Jeep. The Jeep has windows that will completely roll down though and much wider tires that would facilitate off road traction. Interesting to see the real world numbers for size and performance. The Jeep also has a full suite of robust looking recovery hooks on it.

Just read that Stellantis is recalling 194,000 plug in hybrids over fire risk. Park outside, away from structures and don't charge the battery to reduce the chance of fire.

I've known three people in the past who had regular, old school, non-hybrid Jeeps have engine fires. I am sure I am being ignorant, but I wouldn't want a Jeep with a lump of lithium in it ever.

It's a Jeep good enough reason not to buy.

Stellantis is sinking faster than lead in water. The Recon is also an EV and jeeps are priced about 25% higher than they should be
