2025 Bronco Sport Recall NHTSA 26V122 Ford 26S10 EGR Valve Failure

FYI, it looks like a fix is available.

"Remedy A REMEDY IS AVAILABLE. PARTS ARE AVAILABLE TO REPAIR YOUR VEHICLE. FORD MOTOR COMPANY HAS AUTHORIZED YOUR DEALER TO REPLACE THE EGR VALVE FREE OF CHARGE."

However, I'm confused, as originally the fix was software, but now I'm reading the above directly taken from the NHTS site as the fix is now parts related. Thoughts?

Not surprising the fix is an actual EGR Valve since the original issue was due to bad welds on the original EGR Valve. Software can't fix an incorrectly manufactured part.
