On our 2023 Badlands we were able to download the window sticker at no charge. We were told our 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands is ready for shipment. We still haven't gotten any information on how to get the window sticker from Ford. Every place we looked wants to charge a price for the window sticker, where Ford Motor Co. supplied it for free. What gives?

All we did was fill in the VIN, make & model. For all those waiting, you can print your window sticker as long as you have your VIN.
Thought I would try it just for the hell of it and input my vin for my 2021 BL. I do have a window sticker downloaded from the dealer website that was on the Carfax when I bought it used.

Say's that a window sticker hasn't been released yet for my vehicle. Guess I really don't own it.

I was able to view the window sticker for my 2025 Badlands, which tells me that it has been built. Unfortunately my tracker page hasn’t been updated since 12/6 and it still says the car is in production. Called my dealer and he said he knows it has been built and is sitting on a ramp waiting to be loaded. Ford just hasn’t updated the tracker page in almost a month for my BS. This is nerve wracking…

I understand completely!! I feel the same way! I know mine has been down at the rail for several weeks before it updated that it was done being built December 27th! Then January 2nd it updated and changed my delivery date from the 6th-12th of January, to the first week of February!! I was told there could be different reasons for the delay. One is they are waiting for more vehicles to load up before getting shipped and also, waiting for some of the dealerships to sell more of what they have in stock to make room for more! So ya, i was really disappointed to see it won't be delivered for another month!!

Your sticker is generally ready before it’s in production. Somewhere between a week or two. What you really are looking for is the blend date. That’s when the chassis and body blend together. Then, it’s usually within two days that it is actually completed. It won’t show built though until it’s through QC and any final assembly add ons like roof racks etc. QC issues can take weeks. Waiting on the ramp can be a few more weeks.

So, while mine was in production for a few weeks, I talked to Ford Customer service and my salesman and they both told me my vehicle was waiting at the rail waiting to be loaded, that was around Dec 6th. It wasn't until Dec 27th that the website said it was built. The website had been saying delivery date between Jan 6th-12th, now it's the first week of February. They say after the vehicle is built, they can ping it to see exactly where it is! From what you have said and others, it makes me wonder if what they have been telling me is the truth or what's going on! But I would like to believe it's waiting at the railway waiting for shippment!!

In auto manufacturing, in production means something a bit different. Essentially it’s when they start aligning material to make your vehicle per your specific order. The actual build time is less than 1 day. Typically vehicles are “in production” for two weeks but parts delays can cause issues both before blend and after blend depending on it usage and location. QC holds can also cause delays in getting moved to built status. Generally the dealer doesn’t know the specifics as to the delays other than in very generic terms. If it is built but not shipped, then most likely it’s on the ramp waiting to be loaded on the rail car.

That is not a ford site. That is why they charge. Mine came up and said I could buy one for $25. Also, you do not usually own until after it’s built and you fill out all the paperwork at the dealer and take delivery.
