12v Socket Outlet Ports Not Constant

Did a test on the 12v sockets or outlets tonight. Left a front and separate rear dashcam plugged into the outlets, then shut the bs off. Dashcam lights still on. Set a timer for 40 minutes. Dashcam still on. Set the timer for 20 more minutes. Dashcam still on. Another 15 minutes. Still on. Another 15 minutes. Dashcam off. So...it does shut off after a period of time. Bonus is that it will be on to record while I'm in the store, etc. Using basic Thinkware 70 cameras. One on the front and one on the back. Easy to install and no long wire runs. The price was good, too.
