I would like to be able to open wider one of the rear doors on my BS. Is there a simple way to extend the door check? What would happen if I just unscrewed it from the door frame and did not have it hooked up? Thanks

Just picked up by BS OB. They had some Yakima Timberlines on it and took them as they discounted the price some. As indicated in other threads, wind noise is prevalent. Since I do not need them now but would like to keep them on, would moving them together or more forward or more back help any...

I have only been in a Outer Banks with the upgraded radio. How is the sound with the standard radio. Tough to find a BS with the upgraded radio other than the one I drove but did not have the 360 + option, so that not an option for me. Thanks
