  1. Any Complaints so far?

Yeah, sound system opinions will vary wildly. It's one of the many things you have to test for yourself.
  2. Any Complaints so far?

Ambient lighting is the little floorboard and door LED lighting, not the overheads. It's a nice feature but I doubt it's a deal breaker for anybody. I have it on my Cherokee but it's mostly nice for exiting the car at night, the handle is lit up. I personally didn't think the upgraded sound...
  3. Base/Big Bend/Outer Banks Underbody Protection / Armor

I'd be surprised if you couldn't order the badlands skidplates and install those.
  4. Rock sliders?

I don't know, I haven't taken a close look at it. I just tossed that link up because if someone is going to do it those folks will. On the Cherokee the plastic at the bottom pops out so you can install sliders.
  5. Rock sliders?

https://www.rocky-road.com/ford-vehicles.html I would check with these folks, see if they plan on offering anything for the Bronco Sport. It's less of a sure thing than the big bronco. I know folks like their rock rails for Jeeps.
  6. Brushless car wash

I need to find a better brushless carwash....lol.
  7. Did some off-roading today. High centered, and driving through deep crusty snow

When I say not new I mean to cars in general. I know Ford plays up the GOAT modes but the exact same system is in the Jeep Compass and Patriot. The BS marries that system to a more overall capable vehicles. GKN makes the system. It's a good thing that it's not new tech. Land Rover pioneers...
  8. Did some off-roading today. High centered, and driving through deep crusty snow

There's no new tech in the BS. They combined a bunch of solid tested tech in a desirable way. It's why I'm not too worried about teething issues.
  9. Bronco Sport vs Jeep Compass Trailhawk -- MotorTrend Comparison Review

I actually went out and test drove and XC40, great cars. Had the power I was looking for but I wanted some skid plates and side rails. They have great AWD also.
  10. Bronco Sport vs Jeep Compass Trailhawk -- MotorTrend Comparison Review

There's a cactus grey parked at a grocery store I go to, I'm assuming they work in that shopping complex somewhere. I really don't like that color at all. I much prefer the way my Cherokee TH looks over that BS but I don't know how much is the color/base tires. I'll have to reserve judgement...
  11. Bronco Sport vs Jeep Compass Trailhawk -- MotorTrend Comparison Review

My issue with the Subarus was I had a Crosstrek and the transmission overheated on me a number of times climbing a mountain out here in the Sierras. That event is what got me looking at alternatives. To be honest there's not a lot of options for a compact offroad cub anymore. The only ones I...
  12. Bronco Sport vs Jeep Compass Trailhawk -- MotorTrend Comparison Review

Seats, they seemed to have a longer base. Super comfortable in long drives, I've driven 10 hours in a day in it and my butt didn't get sore. I'm not sure I can compare the ride quality, didn't drive the Sport recently enough to remember.
  13. Bronco Sport vs Jeep Compass Trailhawk -- MotorTrend Comparison Review

I test drive both and was just way more comfortable in the Cherokee. I'm hoping the Sport is a success tho, it'll push this segment in a direction I like.
  14. Brushless car wash

Yeah those brushless are good for a quick rinse, shouldn't affect paint but they won't get out the deeper mud or underneath.
  15. Bronco Sport vs Jeep Compass Trailhawk -- MotorTrend Comparison Review

A low range transfer case does put a car into a different, offroading, class. Here's an excellent write-up that speaks about it far more eloquently then I can. https://www.caradvice.com.au/695543/is-low-range-dead-no-its-not-and-its-not-going-anywhere/ The Sport is the only thing that comes...
  16. Area 51 Badlands with BFG KO2 245/65/17 tires on stock wheels

That's why I put those on my crosstrek, great tires. Noticable better than stock.
  17. Sport Production...is mine being built yet?

Covid is really messing up production everywhere. They're building cars with whatever parts they have. Their initial build plan is long gone.
  18. Bronco Sport vs Jeep Compass Trailhawk -- MotorTrend Comparison Review

I bought a fully loaded Cherokee trailhawk for less than the price I was going to pay for my pre ordered fully loaded BL. Jeeps can be had for a few thousand less than MSRP. However when people do these comparisons they mostly go off of MSRP. So that's why they compare it to the compass and...
  19. MotorTrend Bronco Sport Badlands Review: Big Engine, Big Performance

These are their tested specs, not Ford's numbers. The 0-60 is what I expected, some other review had it much lower. 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands BASE PRICE$34,315 PRICE AS TESTED$35,905 VEHICLE LAYOUTFront-engine, AWD, 5-pass, 4-door SUV ENGINE2.0L/250-hp/277-lb-ft* turbo DOHC 16-valve I-4...
  20. Throttle House Bronco Sport Badlands Review

Most of the people buying these cars will not be taking them off pavement. It's good to get reviews with a more on road focus for those folks.
