  1. Any Complaints so far?

Do you recall if that carwash had the cloth rags or the spinning brushes? I know the latter would not be good on those shiny plastic surfaces but don't know about the cloth strips. That is going to be a real problem and I would prefer the flat black (non-glossy) plastic used around windows...
  2. Bronco Sport Report - Killing it in the Texas Snowpocolypse

Thanks, wonder why it says "available on Badlands" ... I would think they'd fit onto ANY trim's roof rails. hmm
  3. Big Bend hard to add fuel

Marky, others here are saying the nozzle just needs a little push to get by the second flap. Yours actually had a problem where technicians are scratching their collective heads with your Sport?
  4. Bronco Sport Report - Killing it in the Texas Snowpocolypse

John, I want your crossbars, where'd you get em and how much were they? Thanks.
  5. Any Complaints so far?

There's no "oh s**t handle for the driver ... because if it's getting THAT bad in the cockpit, both driver hands better be on the damn wheel!
  6. Yakima Timberline Roof Rails meet Thule Force XT LX Box

Your yokos look to have a taller profile than the 225-60's you pulled off (Michelins). Did you go with 225-65's ? I want to shop for that very same look.
  7. Yakima Timberline Roof Rails meet Thule Force XT LX Box

Kyle, is that Area 51 , can't quite tell on my screen. Liking the Yokohama tires.
  8. Intro & A51 First Edition Bronco Sport on the Beach (Padre Island National Seashore)

Bobby, were you able to trade your "newish" Michelins in on the new tires? How wide did you have to open your wallet to do the tire swap?
  9. Intro & A51 First Edition Bronco Sport on the Beach (Padre Island National Seashore)

Bobby, your OB 18-inch tires don't look at all like the standard Michelin 225-60's. Look great, what are they?
  10. Disable “doo-doo-doo” at startup?

Marty, does yours finish by going: ...Hey Hey Hey, Good-bye....
  11. Have you driven with the rear glass open?

Makes no sense to drive around with the glass hatch up anyway. Maybe to bring some 2X4's home from Home Depot or a carpet piece from Big Lots. Other than that, no discussion about "driving around, top speed, etc".
  12. Is the 2.0L Direct Injection Only or is it Direct & Port Injection?

Say Brian, currently I have a 2014 CRV with the regular 2.4 engine and it has been a wonderful engine, still has full pep since I got it. You happen to know if that engine is simply port injected? I know now all CRV's have gone to the 1.5 turbo that has had bad issues with oil dilution.
  13. Is the 2.0L Direct Injection Only or is it Direct & Port Injection?

Brian, thanks for the thorough response. Is it correct to assume the port injection part of it will keep the valves from having the carbon buildup associated with direct fuel injection?
  14. Installed tint for front windows and tail lights

Marty, you are correct sir! I think it is foolish to "go black" on anything that needs to emit a bright light, such as headlamps or tail/brake lamps. If ever you drive on the xway during a good rain/fog with large trucks whipping up all that spray to where you can hardly see your hand in front...
  15. Is the 2.0L Direct Injection Only or is it Direct & Port Injection?

This is the very first I have ever heard: the 1.5 Ecoboost 3 cyl engine from Ford is both direct injection -and- port injection? I would sure like to hear from others on this, as I am in the market for a small SUV and from what I can see and read all over the place, only the RAV4 has a...
  16. Thoughts on sun strip?

I hate seeing too dark tint on front windows to where you can't see anything as far as who is behind the wheel or what they're doing (smoking weed/drinking/texting). Good reason for cops to stop you and check you out. And if you ever want a wave-out to come out from a driveway, forget it. If...
  17. Thoughts on sun strip?

I long for the ol days when just about ALL cars and trucks had the sun band, very very few cars now have them from factory. Nice thing about replacement windshields, if SafeLite does it, I believe all their glass has it standard. Anyway, I like the look of yours, perfect. (just can't...
  18. Oil Change

Brad, have you looked into how easy or hard it will be to replace the air filter and cabin filter yourself when the time comes? I always change my own on my vehicles for far less than a dealer would want, and I do it often so we -and- our vehicles can breathe easier.
