I chose that configuration as the 2nd row seat back on the passenger side can be compressed a bit more when folded down than the driver side. This provides a bit more clearance for the bike seat. YMMV

My ‘tools’ are there, hiding in plain sight on my OB. Loosen the secondary wing nut holding down the jack and you’ll see them attached to the jack.
And thanks for making me look. I had to put on leather gloves to get the grip necessary to remove the plastic super wing nut securing the tire.
Limited. The left control pod has vol up, down and mute. You can move between media selections using the forward (hangup) and back (answer) buttons on the right control pod. See page 73 & 74 of owner manual.
Looks like you have a Mini spare tire? That would give you some extra vertical space. My 2nd row seatbacks don’t flatten nearly that much! Watch your elbows... 😁
For certain your 27.5 wheels are a bit smaller than my 700c (29.5 equivalent). 2 caveats: my OB has full-size spare tire and that raises the cargo floor, reducing available height, and I’m using my trusty Bike Tight rack, a bit taller itself than what Ford is selling.

I’m guessing most everyone has seen the illustration of the cargo area bike rack that Ford is selling. The one with 2 bikes upright. I’ve concluded that those are either kid’s bikes, or mtb with dropper seat posts completely retracted. 🤷♂️ Don’t even think about trying with a large road bike...
