I live in Beaverton. We love gearhart beach, it's a great beach for razor clamming. Good to know BSBL runs well in soft sand. My 25 BSBL doesn't have rally mode.

The same drawn cover two piece lug nuts were on my 2025. They work but I don't believe they will age well. It's the first change I make on all my fords.

I put on Mcgard black chrome locking lug nuts on my BSBLs. They look great and have a very durable finish.

I am going to check the RDU and PTU levels when I do my first engine oil change. The Ford shop manual for the badlands RDU shows that the plugs should be replaced every time. I thought that was overkill ar least for the fill plug. Are you all replacing the plugs?

I have the add on door keyless entry pad on my BS. It was installed by the dealer. It was a bit tricky getting the personalized key sequance programmed. Works great.

I just purchased a shop manual from factory-manual, Its $99 for a download file. You provide you VIN and the manual is customized. Its a copy of the ford service manual, fully comprehensive and is a PDF so you can print pages etc. Worth every penny. Alan

I drained and filled my former Escape and it was really easy to do. I think it was not any risk at all, but I am a DIY guy. And I knew it was done right with the correct fluid.

Your point are all good. I had dawn Industries body color side moldings on my 2013 escape and I didn't experience any white marks when they were dinged. Let's see what they say about the paint match.
