  1. 6 Month Review

I don't find folding down the seats to be hard at all. Remove the rear headrests and fold the seats. Takes less than one minute.
  2. Happy Birthday

I am just a few weeks away from the 1yr anniversary of my 2025 Bronco Sport Big Bend. I have 10,700 miles on it. Averaging 30mpg in mixed driving. 35mpg on all highway trips. Only recall has been for the instrument cluster. It is going in tomorrow for oil change #2. I am thoroughly pleased with...
  3. Warranty work strikes again for the Swamp Ape

Put the $3,000 you would pay for the warranty in a high yield savings account. Throw another $50 per month in there. Use that to pay for any out-of-pocket repairs that may come up. After 10 years if you didn't need to touch it, you will have almost $11,000 in there. Use some of it to help with...
  4. What should I demand from the dealership

Both the 2.0L and the 1.5L have an oil separator built into the engine, but Ford does not install catch cans on these at the factory,
  5. Unknown cluster symbol - please explain it's meaning

It means there is a fault with the Blind Spot Monitoring system and the system is not currently active (or it has been turned off by the driver.) See page 95 of the owner's manual.
  6. How to enable Traffic Sign Recognition and Speed Sign Recognition in 2025 BS Badlands?

might be under the cruise control menu...then you would want to activate the intelligent mode to be able to set the tolerances for the speed limit recognition
  7. Ford Issues Do-Not-Drive Advisory for Certain 2021-2026 Bronco Sport; Owners Urged to Contact Dealerships Immediately (June 1, 2026)

I'm guessing they have tracked it down to a specific worker that has been incorrectly assembling these components and they are able to determine exactly when the person worked and which VINs passed through that person's station. The scary part is that it took 5 years to determine the issue.
  8. Ford Issues Do-Not-Drive Advisory for Certain 2021-2026 Bronco Sport; Owners Urged to Contact Dealerships Immediately (June 1, 2026)

A Ford Tech on Reddit posted exactly what needs to be examined and what the issue is. Credit for these images goes to Reddit user "Executioner7447"
  9. How much, if any...

No negative equity and a minimal loan on the Bronco Sport that will be paid off in the next 2 months. Traded in a 10yr old vehicle that had already been paid off for over 5 years. Plan to keep the Bronco Sport for 10 years as well and then move on to the next vehicle in 2036.
  10. How does the 1.5 3 Cylinder Engine Do Up Big Mountains?

No issues with my 1.5L '25 Bronco Sport. More than enough power for virtually any driving scenario. My previous vehicle had a 300hp V6, and I had concerns that the 1.5L 3cyl would not be sufficient, but it has proven itself to be just as capable as the V6. Not to mention the fuel economy is...
  11. Comfortable for longer road trips? Thinking of buying.

I am 6'4" and my girlfriend is 5'2". We both find my Bronco Sport to be comfortable on road trips. Would I want to go more than 3-4 hours without stopping and stretching my legs? No. 10 hours in a Bronco Sport would be brutal without a few breaks along the way (more than just a 10 minute fuel...
  12. Ford Authority: New Ford Bronco SUV Possibly Killed Off By Trump Tariff.

California problems are, well, uniquely California problems. California is hardly a barometer for the country as a whole. Glad I no longer live there and never plan to go back. Inflation peaked at 9.1% under Biden. It leveled out to around 3% by the time he left, so being at 3.3% now is really...
  13. Just curious who was the rocket scientist that chose to make the gear indicator light

On the 2025+ it is in the lower left corner of the cluster under the tach...I rarely ever look at the PRNDM indicator. I look at it more to confirm I am actually in Park before shutting the car down more than anything else.
  14. Interesting article

I looked at the RAV4 and the CR-V when I was shopping. The RAV4 was incredibly uncomfortable and the CR-V just seemed a bit boring. I loved my Bronco Sport as soon as I test drove it. It may not be in the Top 5 in my state, but there are certainly more and more of them showing up on the roads!
  15. Amber wrench indicator light on instrument panel

The Motorcraft branded injectors are readily available from online parts sites such as Rock Auto. Not sure why Ford dealers wouldn't be able to get the injectors.
  16. Dealership says CV Axle going out and told me it's not covered under powertrain warranty

N1MZ-3A329-A is not a Bronco Sport part...not surprising the portal says it isn't covered.
  17. Water pump leaking

With all of the issues in the '21-'24 models with the water pump, I would probably be inclined to just go with an aftermarket water pump. Gates offers one for the 1.5L with a limited lifetime warranty for around $30 for the part. The Motorcraft pump is well over $150 and only offers a 24 month...
  18. Does the 1.5L use the same alternator assembly as the 2.0L?

Rock Auto has the same Litens part for $44 The pulleys for the 1.5L and the 2.0L are not the same. They are both 52mm outside diameter, however the pulley for the 1.5L is wider.
  19. EGR Valve Recall

A software fix for faulty EGR Valves...interesting...
