If you leave it on and let it time out how fast will it drain your battery?

Is there a trick to using voice commands? They work in the house but have not been able to get them to work in the car?

i noticed that too but the flashing green light would go off so I thought it was off.

For some reason it now stays on when I turn the car off. Might have something to do with when the battery gets low it shuts off right away. I have put a usb switch in and will see if anything changes.

It does if parked in the sun. I put a UVS100 sun shield up if parked.. I don’t use parking mode. I am still playing with positioning to make putting the sun shield up easier.

Well I solved it myself! Bulletpoint Rubigrid with ball mount Bulletpoint dashcam arm and magnetic attachment Vantru E1 Pro Short right angle USB cable Works perfectly and shuts off when I turn the car off when connected in the left USB slot. No issues with heat.

Leaning towards the Vantru E1 Pro Mini but have not found any conversion mounts for it.

Not specific to Badlands as long as you have the tech package I think unless all have the outlets behind the screen.

I have viewed several threads on this but figured I would start a fresh one in June 2026. Understand that the accessory USB C outlets time out at 45 minutes so I am looking for a good dashcam that can preferably be mounted on something that can attach to The Rubigrid i.e., ball, GoPro mount...

Thanks. Would be good to see other dashcam options that can mount on a ball/arm, etc. Also, would be good to have one that will not overheat before the 45 minutes cutoff.

Great info! Looking at the E1 Pro. How does it attach to the Rubigrid? Link to the best USB cable? Somewhat concerned about this power not turning off for 45 minutes and having to push the button everytime.

Looking to get a BulletPoint accessory mount and mounting a dashcam to a ball. Any recommendations on dashcams that will work inverted and how to mount them to the BulletPoint rack?

It is supposed to dim with bright light from behind. Not sure where the sensor facing back is?

Thanks for pointing me to my old thread! I searched and could not find it! I took it to the dealer yesterday and they could not figure it out. They are ordering a new mirror but not sure that is the problem.

For some reason the auto dimming mirror on our OB seems a lot darker during the day than on our 2025 BL. Has anyone experienced the mirror looking darker during the day? Any recommendations?

Also looking for aftermarket front sensors.

Nice! These are by far the best sill protectors out there. The Ford ones do nothing.
