IMHO, At low speeds I find that Sport mode has less engine rattling. Does anyone else think that is the case? Just my car or imagination?

About to replace mine on a ‘23 Outer Banks driven in Fla & Ga. Leaning towards Pirelli Scorpion All Season (AS) Plus 3 for quiet on the highway, good hydroplaning rating, and maybe a bit more mileage than the Michelin AS Primacy. Anyone have thoughts or experiences with this tire?

There are reasons to get the 2.0 Badlands but I don’t think going up and down mountains and long distance highway miles are on that list. (‘23 Outer Banks, 52K miles, lots of trips up and down lil Smokey Mtn hills)

IMHO, The interior is much roomier than the more carlike CRV or RAV4 if you are looking at comparable vehicles. If that is as important as sound to you.

Yeah, I just wanted a roomy, capable, good looking car to drive. The less extra things to figure out and eventually break the better.

Hmm, had it done for the first time last week I don’t think he warmed the engine up? But can’t say for sure as I was warming my own engine up with coffee and watching out the window.

I have made a few trips from Atlanta to Florida with a small U-Haul trailer that probably weighed that much. Smooth as silk on my ‘23 OB with the Ford Tow Package. There are some good threads on the topic in here if you do a search.

Had to change my vote in the poll. My 23 Outer Banks with 38K is getting its new water pump next week. Dealer found it was leaking during a service visit and is covering it under the Powertrain warranty. Thanks to the forum posts like this one I was not shocked when I got the news.

I just passed 36K this month but they are covering it under the power train warranty. Bought an extended warranty from Granger when I brought the car and it is nice to have that piece of mind. Hoping to have many more years in this car that is perfect for my needs and aesthetic sensibilities.
