good find!
watching this thread carefully and waiting hopefully for a Father's Day sale from Bulletpoint, and probably either the Vantrue E1 Pro or E1 Lite (which is like $85 on Amazon but your NewEgg deal on the Pro is better...)
thanks for sharing!
7 - Don't shut the engine down hot after driving hard, let it idle a couple minutes. Their explanation doesn't make a lot of sense - the turbo is still spinning for a few seconds after you shut the engine off and there's no oil pumping? I do know turbo timers are a thing...
Dude’s voice gets to be a little much but good testing and empirically proves what we know - the gimmicky crap doesn’t work. How much an exhaust and a tune will help depends on the vehicle too….
for an article about such a mundane topic, you'd think they'd at least be more thorough - i added a note regarding their omission... Carbon Black with Black Painted “BRONCO” Lettering
What worked for me was changing the “Seatbelt Warning Market” in IPC from USA to Europe in easy mode in FORScan…. Not sure how yours will show up.
Agreed - i have not tried this myself yet, but from what i read, that should be the BCM parameter "Power Point Timeout, s" which is in Easy Mode in FORScan. My 2025 BS is unedited and set at 2700 (45 minutes) so you could test by setting that parameter real short and see if that cuts off the...
definitely sounds real interesting. i like the app aspect monitoring the car battery as well. at $150 (currently) it's a bit out of my impulse buy range, and maybe i just mentally put that aside to go towards a yellow top someday
i spent $60 of my Ford Rewards to get it. So far i don't think it was worth it. I've bought a bunch of stickers and merch so far... certainly not enough to have made it worthwhile...
this is kinda what i've assumed all my adult life when i'd hear promos like this. Good to hear the numbers confirm it.
basically there's a small promo on everything now. might be a good time to custom order a vehicle, as i'd assume those are hard to get a discount on... but i haven't asked AI...
sorry, i didn't document that well - i had 0 initially.
EDIT: I see you added the RCOD w/o Blackbox set. maybe it will work now that both options are set? I believe that's all that remains in my settings that i changed.
also related to the rear camera - this appears to have worked, and i can turn on the rear camera while driving:

9 = RCODVS Enabled • HVS Disabled • PD Disabled • OVS Enabled
so yes, I'm sure the FLUC need to be set to "cornering" to work - but you also need to set each Fog Lamp Usage to include Cornering, and then it will start working.
so here's my current config in easy mode - which i don't recommend anyone model as it currently does "bizarro cornering":
so the...
definitely odd that mine as built would be a 2, especially just being a Big Bend. doubt the Black Appearance affects that - plus the other required parts for cornering to work were not set, so definitely strange...
so this looks like part of the puzzle, but when i look at my as-built data, the FLUC setting was already 2
IIRC, you also need to tell it that your left and right fogs are used for cornering and fogs (and DRL if you want)...
i plan on doing some FORScan work on this rainy day so I'll check it...
I had cornering enabled on my 2010 GTI and it worked with fog lights on (which i always kept on) by dimming the opposite side's light to "emphasize" the direction i was turning in. I feel like it was a better implementation of cornering than Ford has. Even if VW/Audi's way is not all that...
that's 3 members who have the BESTAOO Hood Struts and like them, so I'm going to go that way. Was eyeing the redline but at half the price, i can grab these sooner... thanks all!
this is probably it, but it also is 100% within the Easy Mode options. I turned it on too via easy mode and can confirm it works...
i forget which setting i have that on currently, but i almost have "anti-cornering" lights - the fogs turn off on the side I'm signaling for! i'm going to tweak...
