I have a 2022 used Badlands. It has the B&O sound, heated seats/steering wheel and built in navigation. They were the features that were important to me. Without those I feel like they are base models. Would liked to have the moonroof but, not that big of a deal to me. Got a good deal. Traded in...
Yes, it doesn't matter what brand oil we run. They all get dirty and they get diluted with gasoline. The longer we wait to change the oil, the more dilution of gas it gets. Transmission fluid changes are recommended by all mechanics I know at 50,000 miles. Better safe than sorry.
Posts like this are scary for everybody but, just like when I was on a Mustang forum when I had one, people posted so many posts about ecoboom/blown engine and it scared me so much. I kept the Mustang for 7.5 years and 104,000 trouble free miles. It's like all cars, some have problems, some...
I think it sounds pretty good for a factory installed sound system. I read on here it sounded much better in a Ford Flex I think it was. I'm betting it sounds a lot better than the 6 speaker system in Bronco Sports that don't have the B&O. I think it's ridiculous that the B&O isn't available on...
in the doors or anywhere else to improve the B&O sound system even more? If so, where did you install it? Did it make a nice improvement? I did it in the trunk of the 2018 Mustang I traded in for this Badlands to make the car ride quieter and it made the stereo sound way better.
No, not hard on a vehicle but, I take it much easier and don't live near freeways. Like when I go to my local Food Lion grocery store it's only 13 minutes away on a 55 mph road. So, while 80 is not hard necessarily hard on a vehicle, 50-55 is much easier on them.
Heck no, I take it easy on my cars. The 2018 Ecoboost Mustang I traded in for this Bronco Sport had 104,000 trouble free miles because I took it easy on the car. Not like I stole it. The only thing I did to the car was replace tires, batteries and windshield wipers.
I just got back from my hour ride this morning. It does indeed shift to 8th gear but, doesn't do it until I hit 60 mph. That's crazy. My 2018 Mustang Ecoboost shifted in to 10th after 47 MPH.
I just found this thread here about shifting in to 8th gear. This is helpful too. https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/8th-gear-shift-speed.7842/
I have only had this 2022 Bronco Sport for a week. I have yet to drive over 60 MPH. Maybe I haven't gone fast enough to get to 8th gear. I'm a retired old guy. I take it pretty slow. Still, by manually shifting the right side to shift to a higher gear around 55, I would think it would shift to...
I usually try it around 50 or higher. Sometimes I will downshift with the left side paddle then upshift a couple of times and it never gets above 7th. Tomorrow I am traveling an hour away. I will try to pay attention several times to how many times it shifts. If it has 8 gears I should see/feel...
