    Not knowing vehicle exact age and total miles driven, some things to consider checking (not on your list): Check battery life and manufacture/source; check rear diff fluid/ the RDU fluid / and transmission fluid. Service/replace these as needed.

    Yes, you can do the BMS reset it any time after you drop a new battery in, takes a couple of minutes. I did it after I swapped in a new battery (before the recall came out) and it's been working fine.

    Mine is a 2021 Big Bend, 1.5L, 39,700 miles, religiously change oil and filter every 5,000 miles. I do all the maintenance on it, including transmission/PTU/RDU fluid changes, it’s a surprisingly easy car to work on. Transmission fluid at 30k intervals, PTU and RDU at 35k.
