Cobb Tuning
I have used Cobb before on my Fiesta ST in the past. The Stage one kits are mild and add about 30-40hp and equal amount of torque while firming up the transmission a tad.
Just an FYI
The 2.0 Ecoboost motor doesn't sound that good to begin with. Getting an exhaust is just going to amplify an unpleasant exhaust tone. You are not going to get your 2.0 Ecoboost to sound like a V8.
I need to hear one. Unfortunately every Ecoboom I heard with an aftermarket exhaust just sounds like ass. The only exception to this was the Focus RS which sounded pretty good from the factory.
?? How does this pertain to my post? With the Ford Performance Tune it is warrantied by Ford Performance. No where in my post did I discuss trying to hide a tune from the manufacturer.
Agreed, also with the new S650 Mustang coming out. The amount of tuners will be extremely narrow, as you will probably have to partner with Ford as the new ECUs are locked and Ford has the ability to access any modifications done to the car, talk about big brother.
When you get the Ford ProCal tool, the calibration says right on the tool that its from Livernois. I have the 2018+ Ford Power Pack on my 2020 Mustang and the ProCal tool says Livernois Motorsports. Also the ProCal tool that Ford uses is the same as Livernois with just a rubber Ford...
No they don't I was referring to the tune on my bro's Ranger Tremor. Which is done by Livernois Motorsports as my Ford Performance tune for my 2020 Mustang GT. I wouldn't get tune unless it was released by Ford Performance.
The difference is that these Mustang EB owners push it to the edge. They are trying to get 400rwhp out of a 2.3 L engine. I am on the Mustang sites as I own a 2020 Mustang GT, hey bring meaning to Ecoboom. That being said, if I was to do this it would be with a tuner that has some Ford...
With the LIvernois Motorsport tune you don't need to send in the ECU. Also Livernois does most of the tuning for Ford Performance. They also have a CARB EO number. Livernois did the tuning for the Ford Performance packs for the Mustang, Bronco and the Ranger.
Yea I was getting just under 28mpg on the highway myself. Somewhat off of my 2020 Ford Escape titanium which also had the 2.0 EB engine, I was getting 30mpg with the Escape. Makes sense, sits taller, boxier and the AT tires.
True, still don't feel it meets that level of any state. Unless I am missing something.
One other thing, the smell you are getting is probably cosmoline. They cake it on to keep corrosion at bay from shipping.
On another note, I am not saying they are perfect but my dealer South Bay Ford in...
