No, its not unfortunately. Whats nice about this tool it can also do limited data logging, read and clear DTC's. Its for those of us who already have this tool from having a Ford Performance tune from other vehicles.
Just an FYI, Ford Performance told me that my Mustang ProCal tool should be able to do this on the Bronco Sport. Sure enough, plugged it in and it let me access that menu as well as able to read for any DTC codes. I didn't try anything else.
I wanted to add, if you plan on moving on to the PowerBass units. The tweeters that Ford uses are actually pretty good. A lot of folks in the Mustang world keep the OEM pillar mounted units and just swap out the door units. The PowerBass units can get shrilly and they beam.
It was included for me with the Premium Package, if it wasn't with the package I definitely wouldn't have ponied up for the upgrade. That being said I found with playing with the tone controls helped immensely with the sound. One other thing, is trying to add a subwoofer to the base stereo so...
Mark I found that playing with the tone controls greatly improved the sound quality of the B&O. It was so bass heavy and it muddied everything up. A buddy who is heavily into car audio brought out his spectrum analyzer and I dropped the bass down to just 20% and it cleaned it up a ton.
In the...
Actually that's not true. The B&O speakers do have larger magnets and are of a different impedance.
I don't get audiophile quality in a car. Whats the point? The road noise, engine noise and all the other noises cancel out what you are trying to achieve. That is what my home audio system...
For those with the B&O, reduce the bass down to about 25%, it is way to boomy and I saw a spectrum analyst done on the B&O and it was way to bass heavy. Turning it down to 25% brought it too near flat and cleaned up the bass alot. Not to mention to help with the buzzes from the door panel...
It can but you wouldn't want to. The only reason you would want to do this with the B&O is if you want to switch out amps and subs, then you would need to change out the equalization.
The reason why the PB speakers works so well it's because it works with the stock Ford equalization. If you really want to switch out to a different set of speakers need to put either a new LCI in to control the crossover points or even have to run speakers that are working with the stock...
Agreed on the hwy mileage. I just did a trip to San Diego and averaged 26.6mpg round trip and that included tooling around San Diego. I got almost 30mpg on the hwy on the trip down there.
The noise from the sport mode is actually pretty good sounding. Doesn't sound to synthetic. Also, if the stereo is playing it doesn't get louder when you turn up the volume. To me it kind of sounds like a inline 4/6 cylinder engine, to be frank quite realistic. Doesn't bother me at all, in...
My 2020 Mustang GT and my former 2020 Ford Escape Titanium had the posted speed limit on the map. Not on my BS BL. I looked in the settings of the map and nav to no avail.
