We're going to need to play with this to see the different responses from my speakers. It's odd that the bronco group is using 3800 which sets the output as non tweeter only. I would think this would then cut the higher frequency level. I suppose it might be most effective with the EQ set to...
Changed mine just now. Definitely a noticeable difference. I actually didn't care for the EQ change though. It definitely made a difference in volume, but I thought it sounded a bit more distorted. My guess is this is because of the additional tweeters I have in the front(I left the stock...
Been doing some research and looking at a lot of AsBuilt data from different BS's, Escapes, and some others. It turns out the EQ setting (727-01-02) isn't the correct fix for the rear speakers to be full range if you have the 6 speaker setup (no-b&o). We actually dont know what the EQ settings...
I've been looking into this. I have a 21 OB without B&O. I upgraded my speakers a while back and you can definitely tell the rears do not have the same output levels as the front. Low levels in particular. The current forscan version only has the As Built ACM for my vehicle and I haven't...
I actually installed the same speakers as the guy in the video. They are really great. I may have to steal his design for the sub box though, that's pretty ingenious.
What setting description was it? I looked briefly with the latest version and didn't notice it. Being too lazy to look again with it being in single digit Temps outside.
Honestly I find the rain sensing sucks. Mine came with it and found it to only work half the time when it's lightly raining. Turned it off. Same with my edge.
Wat!? $800!? Wow... Ok. Let me start off with I used to install Car Audio equipment for a living. That's a LOT for the speakers. The door panels are easily removed with a few simple tools, and if you buy the adapters and harnesses, this will be a snap. If you're mechanically inclined you...
The pioneer D series are awesome. The frequency response is great. You will get good mid bass out of them and nice clear highs. I'm very happy with them. I tried out a pair of Alpine S type in the BS, (same price point) and I forgot how hollow they sound. So I went with the Pioneers since I...
You need 2 sets of speakers brackets (adapters) and 2 sets of harnesses. The best buy link with the brackets is packaged with 1 set of each. So you need 2 of those. Anyone who is installing the speakers without the brackets is drilling holes for the speakers Into the sheet metal of the door...
Removal
NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
Release the clips and remove the trim panel.
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Pioneer TS-D65Fs. They are great. If you dig through the thread you'll find I posted links to the adapters and harnesses. There is also photos of how I mounted the harnesses by cutting a small hole in the adapters. I also used speaker foam and a sealer for a baffle. They sound amazing for...
You are correct, the grills are part of the center dash. There must be a clip or retainer that goes under the A pillars. I can see pop clips along the center section by the defrost vents. So it's possible that if you pop the clips in the center, it may just pull out from under the A pillar...
I would like to just default it to being Off. But still turn the feature back on if I needed to. Only thing I've done so far with Forscan is add my heated seats and wheel the sync screen.
