The 7R is electronically limited to 155mph so its not cruising at 166mph. I've had mine up to ~145 and would not want to be cruising on the highway at that speed, although it felt more planted than my sport does at 100. All in all its a strange comparison as the vehicles are light years apart...

throttle response is also quicker according to Ford. Haven’t seen anything regarding vvt/fueling changes but I wouldn’t expect either to change.

s2000s didnt even make 250 hp stock and only 160 lb-ft... not exactly 400. I used to have an RSX-S that revved to 8k. Tons of fun but no real way to add significant power in the way you can on most modern turbo motors with just a tune. I dont recall any RSX-Ss or S2000s that got over (or near)...

The irony is turbos are replacing displacement. You can get 2 liter engines making over 400hp from the factory these days. Those were V8 numbers not that long ago. Not commenting on the rest ;)
