  1. Any Ideas of Changes coming for 2024? .... NOT Rumor Mill !!!!!

Standard equipment reduced, price increases if history is any indication ?. Factory lifts are becoming more popular, that would be nice but it took most manufacturers 20 years of watching the aftermarket before they finally offered one.
  2. Dealership

That's what the regulatory agency is for. Litigation is a last resort imo.
  3. Dealership

Lawyer will eat up your 2000.00 savings real quick. Most states have a regulatory agency to oversee dealer practices at no charge. I would explore that.
  4. Is MSRP still considered a fair market price?

In Canada X-plan can be applied to any vehicle ordered or on the dealers lot. The dealer does not have to participate in the plan though.
  5. Dealer lets people test drive your new Bronco Sport…

Dealer for 25 years here. Would never allow it, period!
  6. Tracking

    I will, thanks.
  7. Tracking

Assuming it is as they just announced this one via an internal dealer email a couple of days ago.
  8. Tracking

Good news for Canadian customers, not sure if USA already has this or something similar, "Description: This bulletin provides you with information on a new Customer Vehicle Order Tracking (CVOT) website that is now accessible for customers to track the delivery status of their ordered vehicle"
  9. New Badlands... lucky find!

Way to go! I grabbed an Area 51 even though my first choice was Cyber Orange. MSRP too.
  10. Waiting room

Plus they outsource all their cheese and pepperoni ?. Glad to see you so motivated about your upcoming accessories!
  11. Waiting room

In Canada VVR is no longer accurate. It was about 90% before the pandemic. It is almost impossible to get a straight answer from even the Ford reps. The VVR is generated out of Detroit so I assume it's a problem in the USA as well. I used the system as a dealer for many years. Best thing I...
  12. Waiting room

The information and communication from factory to dealer is brutal! (Canada) I've seen units with Vin, build date and ETA change multiple times on 2 different Ford status reports. Having said that, at this point every dealer/salesperson should know they are not accurate in many cases. I was...
  13. Badlands ordered, Ford changing options.

Prior to the chit show I would say no you are good to go. Now? All bets are off.
  14. Badlands ordered, Ford changing options.

Broken contract, refund the money and walk away. They can stock it and sell it to someone else. Unfortunately all dealers will have the same constraints so you don't get what you want, crazy times!
  15. Badlands ordered, Ford changing options.

Ford does one of two things typically. They let the dealer know a vehicle with certain options has a low probability of being built or may even be balanced out (not built) for this model year. It is up to the dealer to communicate that information to the customer so they can decide which course...
  16. Badlands ordered, Ford changing options.

Commodity restraints are a day to day thing unfortunately. As a former Ford dealer we've had to deal with this for many years. It's obviously way worse now. I would suggest you tell them you can only decide if you want to cancel once you know what options it is going to come with. Ie; after it's...
  17. Bronco Sport Price Increases Coming April 13, 2022

You should be fine. Firm 2022-model fleet, retail, and demonstrator orders signed and dated on or before April 12, 2022, and received by Ford Motor Company on or before April 18, 2022
