I only had my '21 Badlands for three years and 24k miles. I thought the quality was excellent. Fit, finish, reliability were excellent on the one I used to have.
Colorados are pretty nice and been out a couple years now so most likely will be a great truck.
I sold my special ordered all option '21 Badlands cause wife bitching need bigger SUV for grand child baby seats. Was prob the best new vehicle I had ever owned in terms of quality.
Around 250 miles so far. Exceeds my expectations fit finish way it drives. Does everything great. Can whip around curvy country roads like a car. Most auto publications rate it mid pack behind many competitors. So I am surprise how nice it is love it
Never did see CarMax list my...
Yeah some ppl on Pilot forum posting up V6 engines spinning bearings in older Pilots and Honda says their VIN is not in the recall and making owners pay for repair.
Honda been having automatic trans problems in their bigger SUVs and mini vans for a long while now. Hit or miss some have...
Starting in 2022 Ford started to decontent the sports. Took away rear folding headrest, tool away the beloved engine cover, took away temp read outs on HVAC dials, no panel under glove box, maybe other things I missed. '21 was only year for Badlands Package which was renamed next year. '21...
When I test drove the Pilot I was shocked stunned surprised how nice it was. Cause its rated mid pack by the automotive press. They consider the Pilot average compared to competitors. So was not expecting it to be as nice as it was. From what I saw it was far from average. It felt like a...
A '24 optioned like my '21 had MSRP of 47k. So I think that does help resale value. And still nothing quite like a Badlands Bronco Sport out there still.
Forgot to mention mine at just under 25k mile still had its original Wildpweak tires tread was still deep. Original wiper blades in great shape.
Saw 33 mpg on trips to maryland eastern shore. Was getting 26-28 mpg around town. 2.0 had tremendous power for what it was. No rattles or other...
I tried to trade in. Best dealer could do was 23k which was 4k less then CarMax. So I wasn't able to save on sales tax on new one. But overall my numbers were good so was happy the deal.
Wife wanted bigger SUV so cleaned up my '21 Badlands and got quote from CarMax on Monday. 24,800 miles, no scratches, no rock chips, original windshield. Interior cleaned up extremely well. $27,000 was what they offered.
Found 2025 Honda Pilot Elite wife liked, test drove it, got 5k off...
Original battery, original tires, original wiper blades etc. And mine sat in Mexico baking in mexican summer sun for 6 months missing chip after it was built. So little odd original battery still in it.
This November will be 3 years with my '21 Badlands. 23k miles garage kept pavement princess. I replaced Manual Park Release Cable with third revised design to get rid of faint rattle. Heard rear brake moan several times after 17k miles or so. Other then that its been problem free.
Mine is...
I have seen a few Badlands with bad RDUs over the years. Not many be definitely a few. I definately would no categorize them as problematic like someone else said.
I have 23k miles on my '21 I am gonna change that RDU fluid soon. No noise just preventative. Mines an early build that has the...
There are companies out there selling 2.0 blocks with 2.3 cranks because the 2.0 block is considered stronger then 2.3 block. Can also have local machine shop swap the 2.3 crank/rods/pistons into 2.0 block. Googled it the Focus ST guys have been doing the 2.3 crank into 2.0 block for a long...
