Black Rob:
I seem to recall a quote by Truman about lies.... I didn't even install these as I recall I think a professional did (4 Wheel Auto Parts I think in Frisco Texas). I cannot conceive of how they would claim no loss of ground clearance.
Assuming mine are installed correctly (again, see...
Folkman:
The rock rails cost me about 4" in clearance. It actually feels like more. Before rock rails, I saw people checking out my clearance with some envy... after that doesn't happen anymore.
I'm an inexperienced off roader, I feel that for me the skid plates and rock rails were the right...
Horse and Buggy:
Thanks, I have replaced the Stock Skid with JCR's, but I'll lookto see if that will work. Getting tired of waiting for JCR's.
I don't know that I "need" it, but it would be nice to know it's there and complete.
Appreciate the info.
RR
Personally I wish JCR would just make their Bash Plate to fit the Badlands/1st Edition. Yeah, I know the name implies it works, but take a look at the description on the product.
I've got the entire set of skids/rock rails from them, but when I ordered that caveat wasn't on their website, and...
Summit:
The one's in you picture looked pretty low profile.
My understanding is most (and Ford's crossbars) are higher profile due to the moon roof, it pulls back and angles up I believe (which to me is an odd design choice).
Anyway, I don't have a moon roof so I wanted some low profile bars...
Hey Team:
OK, I've never posted anything like this before so, if I'm off base, apologies in advance...
Recently I purchased, recieved and attempted to have install the JCR Off Road Skid Protection for my Bronco Sport Badlands....
Overall, thanks to 4 Wheel Parts in Frisco Texas (who...
BS'ers....
Just for everyone's information, I called Rough Country and inquired about the Nudge Bar installation on a Badlands. They said that the bar would interfere with the front trail camera on a Badlands.
If anyone has experience with the Rough Country Nudge Bar and a Badlands...
Cyber Sport:
I have a hood bug deflector and if anything I think it added wind noise. Heading into the wind at speed I noticed that my hood "gyrates erratically" since I've added the bug deflector. I almost thought about removing it.
I added it because of an HRG video that I saw pertaining...
Winds of Change:
I'm so thankful for this site and for the incredible people on it!
So I called JCR about what modifications were required for the Badlands to the Bash Plates, and they said that JCR has not sent any of them out yet and they were not aware of any modifications outside of what...
Team:
Victorsen, Meanderthal, etc, much thanks for the support and suggestions.
Meanderthal, I don't disagree with you. This morning I went and looked at it before work (if I wanted to return it I had to do it by Friday). The rear bracket mount/instructions didn't look like it would work in...
Victorsen (or anyone else with this installation):
I just had the dealership aftermarket guys attempt the install and they said that the parts were "too short." I don't think I'm buying, but wanted to see if anyone has installed this on a 23 Badlands.
Note: Called Go Rhino and they confirmed...
Team:
Thanks for all the information. I purchased the Go Rhino Rock Sliders that you guys referenced and think I can put them on.
I installed my spacers (stop laughing, first time I modded a car). That was admittedly almost idiot proof. This installation looks very straightforward...
This is very similar to what I would like. I get there likely has be be a fixed point somewhere. Looks like there to be a fold or slide for the lower half of the ladder.
Instead of everyone making the same skid plates or nudge bars, it looks like a "easy" product to corner...
As someone...
Wabarca2: I'm personally a fan, kinda makes sense if you carry stuff on the roof, how are you liking it? Any problems/suggestions? What did you use?
RR
Blue Oval Fan:
Thanks for the informaiton, so if you have a Badlands which has a skid plate, which I'm assuming is a "floor" skid plate, you would effectively have to get rid of that to get the JRC setup?
Again, apologies, for all the ignorant questions.
RR
Team:
One more question:
In the original post Victorsen stated "I am planning on getting the jcr sliders especially for the catalytic converter and Evap."
Is it right that he is saying the JCR Sliders are better than the Go Rhino ones he has?
Apologies for the Noob question.
RR
Thanks for the information guys, I'm not sure if I'm inept or the website is glitchy, but I couldn't get to the right part without your guidance. Appreciate it.

Victorsen:
Can you confirm that these are the sliders you installed?

Much thanks for the information and share!
