I wonder if they changed something? I have the hood insulation, checked adjustments and bump stops. It's annoying and may eventually become a problem. Aluminum flexing thousands of times will probably crack at some point. After warranty of course ?
I have the Ford one. No change in ridiculous hood vibration at freeway speeds. It's so bad I've had passengers ask if that was normal. Of the 20 or so Ford's I've had this is the only one that does it. Reminds me of some of the old Mopars I've had. Hood pins were required for safety ?.
I'd go with wrap. Cheaper and easy to return to stock if you or a future buyer decide you don't like it anymore. I have Area 51 with carbonized Gray. I'm thinking black would look better and blend in with the windows and pillars.
Thanks. I assumed the dealer would know this. The other 3 flares are fine. They just got back to me and said it will be covered under warranty. I'm going to pay extra to have them bolted on for peace of mind. Cheers.
My dealer installed Bushwhacker flares have fallen off several times. Always drivers side rear. I added extra clips to to fender portion then the door portion fell off somewhere on the freeway. Waiting for response from dealer. There should be at least a couple of screws used for permanent...
Terrible fastening system. My dealer installed rear flare has fallen off 3 times. Lost it on the highway last time. Waiting for response from dealer. These should be bolted on. C clips are not holding.
Mine were dealer installed and the drivers side rear had fallen off 3 times. I added extra clips but now have lost the small rear door piece while driving down the highway. They really need to be bolted on! I just emailed my dealer to see what they say. It should be warranty.
I had the dealer install the set available through Ford. I'm 99% sure they are Bushwhacker. Installed using supplied hardware, c-clips. They suck, One side fell off at carwash twice. Ford dealer says he can't get new clips separately. I bought some at AutoZone. Eventually I will add stainless...
I have a BL with hood insulation, added AeroSkin deflector. I've never had a vehicle with so much hood shake/movement. Was thinking of rock guarding underside to see if that helps. Line x type of coating.
May not have what you are looking for but some cool Bronco stuff. I bought emblem package from them for my Cyber Orange "Bronco" golf cart. Top quality! https://www.wildhorses4x4.com/category/Bronco_Emblems
Old post I realize but I just ordered these mouldings yesterday. I seriously cannot believe they would sell a part that interferes with a factory badge. These are obviously not designed specifically for the Bronco. If nothing else they should have a disclaimer on the site "requires removing...
I assume that is USA price so 650ish Canadian isn't too bad. Going to have the local dealer install them at the same time as they do rear spoiler, custom wheels and door sill protectors. Thanks for your reply.
Looking for narrow pocket style flares. Is Bushwacker the way to go? That is what Ford is selling on website. 650.00 sounds expensive though. Anyone have pics of some installed?
