I went with the General Tire Grabber. No noticeable change in milage. Slight tire noise but quite tolerable. Good rain and snow performance. Offroad I used it for sand and soft dirt, aired down of course. Did very well in the dirt and sand. UHP255 - 55 - R18
'21 Bronco Sport Outer Banks. The rear brakes have made noise since new. Close to 35,000 miles now and they still make noise. I am thinking of trying an after market brake pad instead of Ford OEM.
Yes, I have had rear brake noise since new and the dealers (2) both said there is nothing wrong?? Well maybe go to after market brake pads when they wear out??
Yes, I am very happy with how these tires fit and their dirt and sand performance. I am not a rock crawler so I made this choice. I may choose a different tire next time, but will stay with the same size. I would like more room in the OB for bigger tires in front, but that is not the case. I...
This is why I deal only with a local independent tire shop. That is a repair they do make and they do not make any bones about putting a tire back on if they remove it. I can drive up at any time they are open and they will check tire pressures. Repairs are completed in 15 or 20 minutes. And...
I don't think there will be a problem with going with a smaller tire. I went with larger and wider tires on my O.B. and did not see any change in the accuracy of the speedometer. Maybe it self compensated??? Don't know. I did notice when I had to use the donut spare tire that the car...
I chose these tires for my Outer Banks. 27,000 miles and still tread left above the wear bars. Good rain performance and good on sand and soft dirt. I do not do rock climbing. I too rotate the tires with each oil change. There is a little road noise with this tire but not enough to be...
I get the same kind of results with the tires on my Grand Cherokee. I do not think the TPMs are perfectly accurate but are a good way to see if you have a slow leak and need to attend to it. If the tires are within a couple psi then all is good.
I put 255 55 R18 on our Outer Banks. Ride is fine and no appreciable change in fuel economy. I have Rough Country 1.5" lift and no problems with over 22,000 miles now. There is a slight tire noise but nothing distracting. We use it for dirt roads, soft field and on sand. The tire I chose...
I have a 2021 Outer Banks. I installed General Grabber UHP 255 55 R18. No clearance problems and no noticeable change in mileage. I use it for soft dirt and sand off roading.
