Ford website indicates 25 BB wireless charging is standard. I looked at a few when shopping and they all had it no matter the options. I ended up going with a 25 Badlands and it works perfect with my Galaxy S25. Charges as fast as wired, running Android Auto with Maps & Spotify while charging...
Right on with @Dude Sounds like weak/failing battery. First off Ford should have been putting AGM batteries from the start. My 25 has an AGM and even then, if not drivin everyday it causes glitches. I keep both my 25 BSBL and 24 Mustang on battery tenders year round and have had zero issues since.
I'm on Android 16, latest Ford app for me is 6.3.0. Keep in mind you have to start the vehicle to see the temp menu as shown.
Home screen... Then once started a control bar appears, tap it and it's all there.
You may be correct, though on mine I can control the temp from the app so if I crank it all the way up, the heat will come on after the engine gets to operating temp.
I know with my 25, climate control set to auto, it has to wait for the engine temps to warm up before the HVAC fires up. I does the same with my 24 Mustang, cant remember which one of the owners manuals stated this.
When the outside temps are really low and it is a cold start, mine has taken...
That's what I was thinking, probably little more time on the freeway and it will go up, I only have 500 miles on it. Yeah both my BSBL and GT 5.0 were not chosen for fuel economy, each one serves it's intended purpose.
I would not want a power lift personally. Seriously though, the first time I tried to open the litigate I thought It was supposed to be powered because there is no handle, when you press the button you have to actually pull up on the button to lift the gate? Though there are handles on the...
How are people getting 26+MPG in a Badlands? Mostly highway driving?
I drive mostly around town, usually in ECO Mode, never over 50% throttle yet (still new) My new 25 BSBL rated 21 - 27 MPG... I drive the thing as tame as possible and I'm only averaging 18... I average 14 in my 24 GT and I...
Also to goo off of what @rocks mentioned about sleep mode with a full charge and on a maintainer/tender.
I did this one on my Mustang while on a NOCO5, I hit the remote start to get the vehicle warmed up for a drive, went out to the garage and forgot the tender was attached and plugged in...
Yes this is normal. My 24 Mustang GT stays on the maintainer year round. Yesterday I got the notification it went into "Battery saver mode" This is based on a time interval of 2 weeks without a start/drive, even if the battery is charged. Been driving my 25 BSBL lately and have not had an issue...
Great info! My limited experience, I always get sparks removing (B-) cable. Heck just backing out the chassis lug it throws sparks and the headlights flicker... I am trying to produce the least amount of disruption to the electrical system. So disconnect (B-) even though I get a small spark...
Thanks Major, I saw your thread a few days ago. The only difference with my 25, the ground lug is actually a bolt shape and not round like yours. I was trying to find a clamp that would work and make a good connection.
Thanks, on your install you connected to the (-) battery post which is what the video on the BMS suggested not to do. Also the (+) you connected to, that (2) post on my pic, do you know where that leads to?
Do still have yours connected that way, and ever have any electrical or issues...
First post here so bare with me... Bought a New 25 Badlands, I take only short trips 1-2 times a week and store in a cold garage, it's time to install a NOCO 5 Genius with M10 eyelet connect. Looking for install advice/experience as the install points are not quite as simple as my 24 Mustang...
