What’s up with Bronco Sport on Autotrader?

Maybe they are keeping / listing vehicles that customers cancelled? You can check VIN numbers here: https://driving-tests.org/vin-decoder/

    I have a VIN number!

I posted this somewhere else, but it's really important to keep in touch with your dealer, specifically the individual who is in charge of the Bronco Sport orders. It took my dealer a long time to get up to speed, but I'm now texting my contact to keep up to date. There are still a lot of...

Introducing the Bronco Sport Badlands Trail Rig Concept

I'll be writing up a full article on the build (inside and out) once everything comes together, hopefully before tornado season in April of next year.

Introducing the Bronco Sport Badlands Trail Rig Concept

Here is my updated image for our Bronco Sport Storm Chase Interceptor. (Original image with permission by Matt St-Pierre - Motor Illustrated - Concept additions by Warren Faidley)

    I have a VIN number!

Just a suggestion.... can everyone post the date your reservation was originally made when you receive a VIN and build date so we can estimate when others will be built? Thanks.

    I have a VIN number!

I actually ordered on August 17th, which should equate to a delivery date before April -- judging by other orders and build dates. I'm not 100% sold on the Bronco until I test drive one and see what other "test pilots" think, so a delay is fine with me. It also opens the door for other vehicles...

Bronco Sport Wins Off-Road Race at Rebelle Rally

Hopefully, Kia fixed the well-known and well-discussed issue with power distribution in the Telluride. It's known for sub-par, flat acceleration which was a deal-breaker for me. Surprised someone did not rear end it. :)

    I have a VIN number!

I spoke to the dealer at length today and was told once more that a VIN is "not the final" step and changes in color and options like the "organizer," or "tires" can be added / altered afterwards when the dealer contacts the buyer before everything is finalized. Maybe another dealer can chime in...

    I have a VIN number!

My dealer told me that they will have me come in once the VIN is issued and I can look over the build and make any changes. However, I have not seen anyone post they have done this?

Is there any downside to the off-road features on regular driving?

I will be using mine for both off-road and highway driving. Believe it or not, sometimes the off-road editions are better highway drivers than the standard vehicles due to the higher-grade, tuned suspensions. The 4Runner TRD Pro is a great example. Obviously, if you have off-road tires you are...

Introducing the Bronco Sport Badlands Trail Rig Concept

I'll likely add the flat roof rack first, then position the antennas on the top towards the back, like I did on my Xterra so there is no problem with the antennas and the rack. I'm assuming it's metal so drilling the 3/8" holes won't be a problem. I use a remote control head on the 2m /440 radio...

Introducing the Bronco Sport Badlands Trail Rig Concept

Hi, that was actually my "Bronco Storm Chase" chase concept vehicle. Thanks for posting. We work as volunteer EMS operators, National Weather Service storm spotters and I'm also a journalist who specializes in storm coverage. We are not the "fake" scientists you often see on TV....lol. My...

    Bronco Sport Interior

Just remember that options like leather may increase the resale value, not so much the trade-in value later. I'm also switching over to the Orange instead of the black because I think it "looks" more interesting and the black blends in with a lot of other vehicles especially when I don't wash it...

What You don’t like about Bronco 2 doors, 4 doors, and sport!

One thing I did not mention is the "feel" inside the vehicle. I want to fell like I sitting high enough to get that "truck" or SUV feeling, not a "car" feeling. This is also important for off-road visibility. Nor do I want to feel cramped. The wide angle pictures make it look really big inside...

    Extended Warranty

Be very careful before buying any third party warranty -- like those advertised on TV or via texts. Things like lift kits (even those installed by the dealer) can void some of the third party warranties. (Not the actual Ford warranties). I **believe** you also have x-number of miles or years to...

    I have a VIN number!

This is sooner than I expected. I was shooting for a February - April delivery so I have time to hear from others in reference to any potential issues. (Sorry test pilots) I MUST test drive one before committing and I'd like to read a few 3rd. party reviews. Regardless, congratulations on the VIN's!

What You don’t like about Bronco 2 doors, 4 doors, and sport!

Size: Needs to be at least 7 inches longer but not a deal breaker. Height: Needs to clear at least 10 inches instead of 8ish. Not a deal breaker, especially if there is a 1-2 lift option. Engine: **Might** need more HP -- at least 300. (If the acceleration is too slow for safe passing, or...

2021 Bronco Sport Accessories List (w/ Pricing and Part Numbers)

It took over an hour, but I was FINALLY able to work my way up the Ford Corporate ladder to get some answers. Here is what I found out: Once you have a "reservation," then a confirmed "order," the dealer will eventually have you come in to "finalize" the order. At that time, you can change /...

2021 Bronco Sport Accessories List (w/ Pricing and Part Numbers)

I put a call into the dealer last week (plus an email) to add to the cargo system but I never heard back. Once more, they seem to have ZERO interest in selling the Bronco. It seems to be a pain in the a__ for them to answer any questions, unless you are interested in buying something off the...

Thanks, that was what I was afraid of. They are clueless.
