Look up “scratches happen” paint repair kit. It comes with primer, and clear cost and the paint match is spot on. I just did a post about this recently and mine turned out really well. The kit is only like $30.
I would typically agree with this but I have spoke with them through email and they have told me that it 100% can be used for recovery. The issue is that I know that the bar does not attach to the frame and they could not explain to me how it it strong enough to be used as a recovery point…
Ford Ranger Lifts says they are suitable to be used for recovery hooks but they only attach to where the front of the tow hooks mount and not to the frame... On the description part of their product they say there is additional brackets available to reinforce the bar but they do not offer those...
I have a 2.0” Eibach spring lift and I can confirm that it does not matter as far as tire size goes. I have been running 245/65 even before the lift and they do not rub lock to lock at all. Here is a pic of my Baby Bronco after the lift was installed.
A lot of people including myself have gone the “All-Terrain” tire route for bigger and chunky tires. As far as speedo recalibration goes, my dealership does not do them. I took it to a local 4x4 shop who did it for me through Forscan. I’m assuming it isn’t that hard to do and can probably be...
Potentially. Personally, I wouldn’t do anything to modify the body due to it being a unibody vehicle and structural integrity could be compromised. Not sure if doing anything to the pinch weld would cause such issues but I’m a scaredy cat when it comes to that stuff.
On Bronco Sports with 17” rims, 245/65 fit with no modifications needed. (Some have claimed to go bigger) However with an OB I would assume you have the 18” rims which will change what you can fit without modifications. I think the 30 in tires is about all that can be squeezed into those wheel...
I put the white letters on the outside as well and it looks great with the “retro” styling of the Sport.
I am also lifting mine 2” here soon. Just got my Eibach Springs a couple days ago just have to find time to get it done now.
