Today I started installing a switch panel. The under-hood fuse box is a no-go for the supplied accessory power tapping fuse, as the lid won't shut, and I'm not going to cut into it. I either need to tap a wire somewhere or order some wire and tap into the internal fuse box?
Mounting the switch...
It works great for me, except when I'm going to turn following another vehicle and catch a green light or arrow....Then it wants to kick into drift mode unless I tap the brakes....lol
If you're 100% sure there's no way you enabled it then I'd either have the dealer warranty out the cruise control switch assembly or change it myself if they won't.
I think you're most likely inadvertently hitting resume with your left thumb and not realizing you set it. I'd suggest either keeping an eye on the pesky left thumb or looking at the cruise control indicator on your instrument panel. I guess you could make a habit of enabling and disabling...
I don't usually drive much so I switched to top tier premium fuel in my Badlands. As far as the cost difference I view it as I'm buying my Bronco a happy meal.
My 2025 BS Badlands isn't even broken in yet so I'd imagine with time it'll get better.
Lifetime MPG's it's off by 9 miles, but close enough. I mostly drive in Normal mode. Actually it's
more like I don't drive.....It'll be 4 months of ownership tomorrow!
Current tank MPG, which is a combo of...
San Jacinto Ridge Trail (FS 5S09) Over in the Idyllwild area. I took that trail to Bee Canyon and wound up coming out on the 74. I made a wrong turn onto BeeCanyon and intended to take East Indian Canyon 4S10 back to the 243....lol
Bugs eye view from my grill cam. Ignore the music as the engine noise is annoying. I'm still experimenting with camera angles. YouTube looks to butcher the video quality. The video is just for camera angle opinions.
.
Hit a couple of trails today. Nothing crazy, but did give the front shield a love tap or two. Flying solo my forward facing camera was my spotter....lol

I liked them at 1st, but wanted to change the stock tires and went with a rim
tire combo instead. The stock Badlands trim look is black with a colored strip down
the middle....lol
I only reset trip 1 when I fill up the tank. I use trip 2 more like a lifetime stat.
If I go on a trip and...
I saw 2 of them sitting side by side one day when I took my wife's car in for an oil change. I'm not sure what was up with them, but they didn't match color wise. On another note the color did seem to shift when viewing at different angles such as a couple vehicles down to the left or right.
Nice! Tennessee looks like fun, but I'm holding out for MOAB early next year. Just waiting for the new calendar to drop so I can pick my day. Looking at late March, early April.
