Got the TSB done. Creaking is gone. I paid $65 for an alignment check and everything was within specs so I feel money well spent to verify alignment was not needed.

I think sometimes when IOS automatically updates some settings get changed. I think I have seen that happen for other settings.

I haven't gotten that deep into CarPlay so not able to help with settings. Could it be different versions of iPhone IOS. I am still running version the latest version of IOS 18 even though I know IOS 26 is available. Maybe different setting availability depends on IOS version.
