My dealer sent a letter offering a buyback on a new vehicle for only $2k less than I purchased it for almost 2 years ago. I might be cRAzY, but I'm not stupid so I'm in the process of ordering a new F150, Reg Cab, Short box V8. It will the first time in my life I didn't just buy something off...
2.7 V6? "there's no replacement for displacement" The coyote has more than proved it's self up to a 1,000+ hp with it's stock bottom end. As far as the extended cab? Had one, never used the extra space and I like the shorter wheel base for where I'll be taking it. Besides, who can argue with...
I'm too happy with my 21 BB to get anything else. If I were, it would have to be a 2door if I went with the full sized Bronco. As it stands now, I have 60k on the clock and I'm considering ordering a new F150 in the spring while it still has value as a trade-in. It's going be a 2 door Reg cab...
The factory plastic steering wheel is an embarrassment as well sticky in the summer and frigid in the winter. I didn't have my BB a week b4 I purchased a leather one from LKQ. Best under $100 mod I did. In hindsight, I was unaware the control pods would swap over to the ST (or RS) wheels. I for...
My only issue with my 21 BB is it will not "voice command directions" while in "maps", but will when I'm in "google maps" which means I need to type in the directions instead of just initiating them from my calendar. I suppose I could just use the google calendar instead though.
I opted for getting a PeddleMax and a tune from 5 Star Tuning. "Normal" now feels like sport did with using all the transmission gears (In sport, this thing is an animal!) In reg sport mode, if I am not mistaken, it locks out overdrive, at least it did in my 21 BB
I went with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss on Alp wheels offered through Tire Rack. Outstanding tire no matter what the condition. Also, as close to a mud tire you can get without it actually being a mud tire which is important for the places I go camping. The best tire I have ever had in the snow as...
I went with the FlowMaster FX. Mostly to be honest, I had CC points to burn and dang if Amazon could deliver in 2 days, why not? VERY satisfied, not obnoxious, no droning, just a nice deep rumble
#1, it has a turbo and unless you're running E85 and it's tuned appropriately, that's IMHO is the way to go for the best overall performance. #2, the cost difference is slight, why would you not? #3 This is a DPI engine and valve jobs are expensive, why not run the better/cleaner burning fuel.
I have the same (literally) PM that I hade on my 16 Focus, 18 EcoSport and now my 21 BSBB. I learned that if you do not use the "dial", you do not get as much lag removal. Kind of a pain, I just stuffed in the small cubby ahead of the dial shifter so it's out of sight. I think I used it once...
I change mine religiously every 3k (which ends up being twice a year). That being the case, I never had that warning. A local shop does mine using Gulf synthetic and a Napa Gold filter for $40. Cheep insurance if you ask me. They did try to sell me a "flush" for $200 the 1st time I was there. I...
