I agree about the design. The utility is amazing. You have a 360 camera in a Sport? I had one in my Bronco and it was the best. And thanks, I don't even want a car after 3 of these - what a headache. Maybe an old jeep with a good mechanic
Like Hyundai guy, I got a third Bronco. My first one had issues too. Third one wasn't a charm. Yes, it's all cars. They were different pre-covid. Before they were all chips. Before they rushed all those chips out. When mechanics could look under the hood and see what's wrong. Now, the best they...
My badlands is being repurchased by Ford. What I've learned in this being the second buyback is that they know the issues these cars are having. They are fully aware that two bad transmissions is indicative of a systemic issue. Instead of working harder to fix those issues, they keep selling...
I agree about the design flaw that they can't fix. That's what happened with my Bronco. They replaced almost everything and the car kept stalling....in intersections. Brand new, 1K miles.
For this Sport, we all assume they sent a new transmission. It's a new car. Who knows. No one in service is...
The bucking is at slow speeds, let's say you're going 30 or less and take your foot off the gas to turn into a parking lot or something similar, the car bucks. Nothing to do with temperature of the car or outside. In my case, the best way to replicate it is take your foot off of the gas, while...
UPDATE: My transmission was replaced with another bad transmission. Why can't this company make safe cars that work? 10K miles, the issue started at 4K
Thank you again for this. I gave your notes to my service dept and it gave them a place to start. They were able to reproduce the lurching in the shop. They're replacing the whole transmission!
So...I don't have specifics of what was failing and causing the lurching, but they are replacing the whole transmission. Wow. I'll let you know the specifics when I have them.....
Not yet - spoke to service, they're aware of the issue and have heard of this issue. We're under a wind and fire situation here in LA. This will have to wait a few days....
Yes, I know many of those owners who have not had any issues. I love these cars but this will sadly have to be my last. I know the service dept way too well...by name. That's just not normal.
It's a process. if they buy it back, they'll pay you back for your payments and downpayment. They offer a crappy $1500 towards a new ford and you sign over the car. After that, do whatever you want. I was going to go Toyota also but because of my hassles a different Ford dealer offered me a sick...
