That depends on how you define 4x4 which is entirely a matter of opinion. If you are wondering what is the “correct” term is, there isn’t one. It’s all marketing jargon.
Gearheads will rant on forums all day about what is “true 4x4” as if their opinion is official, but it honestly doesn’t...
Just random. A couple warning lights popped up about a week ago saying there was something wrong with the powertrain. It was driving fine, but I brought it in to have them check it out anyway. I called today to see what was up, and they said they are waiting for a new differential and rear axel...
I think the best way to describe it is that there is not another stock vehicle that has better off road capabilities and also equals or exceeds its gas mileage and on road performance.
I think the full size base Bronco is meant to be a platform for mods. There will be lots of people doing all sorts of crazy suspension, tires, body mods... on it. Ford wanted to keep the base as cheap as possible for the people who wanted to set it up themselves.

Only complaint so far is that the center mirror mount obstructs a huge chunk of the windshield. I feel like the worst blind spot is the front driving side.
I’d like ventilated seats, but that’s not a major issue.
I was confused at first, but I think I figured it out. So the increase is in market share. All car sales are down this year, but the portion of them that are Ford’s is up. Last year 11.7% of SUVs sold were Ford. This year it’s 12%. So I’m assuming they have never had 12% of the SUV market before...
I don’t know why people want it bigger to have another bloated SUV. I ordered mine because it was small. There are so many other options if you want something fat and unwieldy. The only off road capable vehicles in the size range of the BS are the Jeep Compass or Cherokee.
A pitch like that would guarantee I never return to that dealer. That’s either 1. A straight up lie. Or 2. Tells me that their cars are really unreliable that everyone thinks they need an extended warranty.
