I found a couple of the pieces, but not enough to complete the loop. I've also got 0 welding experience or tools, so I would have to bring it to a shop. Is this something that a shop would take on? I'm planning on hitting up some junkyards this weekend.

Ran over a rock in the desert and ended up with a busted engine mount, as can be seen through the hole in the skid plate. Another look at the failure once I got home and took the skid plate off: The part isn't terribly expensive and it seems pretty easy to replace, so I placed the order...

I always thought the check valve totally prevented flow in one direction. Does it actually just allow flow once enough pressure (e.g. pump active) has built up?

This has started happening to mine more and more these past few months. I'm over 60k already, so no longer under warranty. Did they have any specifics about failed? I would guess that maybe just the washer pump would need to be replaced and not the whole washer assembly?

It's always in AWD, not 4WD. It normally prefers just using FWD and will kick in the rear wheels for various reasons.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! The noise was driving me crazy, after I ran over a rock that got dug up while climbing a sand dune. All sorts of weird conditions to get it to show up. I didn't have as much of a formal fix though. I just had a crowbar and some Jack stands to pull it kind of back...

There is a setting that can disable this feature, but it should be enabled by default if you have it.

I haven't had great luck with sand mode in deeper sand on an ascent. I've had better luck with sport mode. We just tried it out this past weekend in some California dunes. All else equal, we got stuck in sand mode but cruised up in sport mode.
