I had a similar situation happen while in the drive thru at McDonalds. The vehicle suddenly experienced a total power failure and shut down. It turned out to be a loose Battery's negative cable at the point where it connects to the chassis. Once tightened, haven't had that issue again.
For those of us that have the Bronco BS base and were left badge less by Ford, here is a nice set of metal badges you might want to consider. Found these at Hobby Lobby.
Actually, that light is battery operated and is held in place with putty to see how it would look. I never did go through the project. The three amber lights in the front are also temporary and decided they were too bright and were never installed. everything else is there and in working order.
While waiting at a drive through, my engine cut off completely, all went dark and silent, not a whistle or bell. I suspected the battery and while checking things out, found my negative battery cable loose at the chassis mount. Once I tightened the connection, everything was fine.
Has anybody else experienced an unusual amount of disk brake dust on the front wheels, coming from the recall replacement pads? The dust builds up so aggressively, spray on and rinse cleaners don't do it, it requires a good hard scrubbing to clean up.
That's nice. I wish those were around when I did my vents last year. I had to build mine from scratch. They do not interact with the blinkers, they just come on when the lights come on.
I was waiting at the drive through of Mc Donalds when all of a sudden, the power shut down on my 2021 Bronco BS, as if someone pulled the plug. It turned out to be a loose battery ground to chassis connector. Then I started wondering, since so much of this vehicle is being electronically...
If I remember correctly, that location has an emergency hood opener behind that tab. it's red and you can see it in photos 6 and 8. there is also metal frame support parts that are in the way.
The brand name for the roof rails is "Reese", found at Walmart. As far as compatibility with a sunroof, I'm not able to offer advise as I don't have one. There seems to be plenty of height under the basket to accommodate a sunroof.
When I just had the cross bars only, it howled noticeably at around 60 mph. Once the roof rack was installed, surprisingly, the noise level dropped to an acceptable low hum easily overcome by the radio. The fog lights and rack lights are Alpena, you can find them at Walmart.
Is hard to say just testing in the driveway, but with the headlights and fog lights on, when the roof rack lights come on, you can tell the difference, I have lights all around the basket. The Idea is to illuminate a camping ground area 360 degrees while setting up and tearing down. I wouldn't...
I tapped into the driver side rear speaker. Since I was replacing the speakers also. you won't believe how cheap the factory speakers are. Can't remember the wire colors, they were multicolor if I remember correctly. I followed the wires from the speaker to the center pillar, and from there I...
