My 21 BS BL has 22k miles. No issues or significant work Just oil changes and regular maintenance. Solid car. The BLs are more that other trims as you have the 4-cyl engine and two more GOAT modes, etc.
The price is on the high end for these, but not crazy high.
Mine are not leaking enough to require an immediate fix, but maybe at the next service. Anyway, I am over three years out, so no warranty. However, service tech said she can put in a request to Ford to see if they will chip in for some of the replacement. She called it a financial aid request...
2021 badlands with 20k miles. Zero battery issues. Went in for regular service and they inspected battery as precursor to recall. Battery checked out fine. Not all 12v may be bad.
I have 2021 BS BL. Only 20k miles in almost four years. No crazy use or rough treatment. Took in today for 20k service and they also performed the recall work and checked battery and confirmed no issues.
However, service tech apparently noticed that rear shocks are starting to leak. Anyone else...
Ditto for me. Just after starting and driving forward has rough shift in the low gears and then it does not happen again. Always just the first shift threw the gears. Is transmission fluid pooled and just not well circulated yet?
This is interesting and thanks for the information. I have a 2021 Badlands and never encountered battery issues or the other gremlins reported on this recall, and it sits a lot between uses, often a week or two. I'm wondering if this really applies across all vehicles or just that they cannot...
Get a Carbon Fiber upgrade from Vivid Racing. I've been thinking about it. Anyone do this trade out?

I generally keep vehicles a long long time. Glad I got 2021 Badlands trim which has avoided a lot of issues raised in this forum re 3-cylinder engine on other trims. Anyway, mine has been great. 15,000 miles and only oil changes and tire rotations.
However, still has very high resale/trade-in...
Mine came stock with Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires. Maybe these are specific for Badlands trim? They've been great...so far. But I do like the beefier look of the Goodrich.
Anyone really look at the instruction manual? It likes like the only work required is on the driver's A pillar, driver's roof rail, driver dash, etc. Who in god's name do they require a bunch of rear panel removal, etc.?
