  1. The "Two Bronco Problem"

I would take the one I ordered. It only exists because I asked for it to be created. Maybe sentimental dung, but doesn't seem like there is any reason not to take the one I ordered.
  2. My new 2025 Eruption Green Bronco Sport Outer Banks with Tech Package is at my dealer now ... but two wrinkles ....

To me, your last point is the best thing about the Bronco Sport. The interior to me feels pretty substantial for the size of the car. I am not small and I think it is a very comfortable drive, great headroom as well. Good cargo room. Small footprint. Just a well thought vehicle.
  3. My new 2025 Eruption Green Bronco Sport Outer Banks with Tech Package is at my dealer now ... but two wrinkles ....

I think that power folding mirrors is a must on a truck (my F150's are used all the time), but I really can't think of a situation where I needed them on the Sport. Footprint of the Sport is so small and the mirrors so tiny, just never felt like they were out too much. I wouldn't sweat it too...
  4. Ordering - Ventilated Seats?

I have them on my F150 in Texas, so I get where you are coming from. They are nice. Before you give up on the Sport, consider this option: https://katzkin.com/degreez/ You want the 2.0L? Get the base Badlands and install the Katskin leather (way better than Ford's anyway) with the added...
  5. Water pump dies

I bet 90% of Sports sold are 1.5L or pretty close. Of course there are more 1.5Ls with issues. There are a helluva lot more of them.
  6. What else do you drive?

2024 Bronco Heritage Edition. Keeping it in the family!
  7. Saying goodbye to the Lil Green Bronco

I feel like there a lot of goodbyes lately. I guess the Class of 2021 is starting to move on...
  8. Considering a Second Sport

Well, I ended up going a different route:
  9. Considering a Second Sport

    Also considering that.
  10. Considering a Second Sport

I have a 15 year old (just turned 15) and I am thinking of picking up a second BS for him when he turns 16. I had no intention of getting him a car until he was old enough, but with the deals I am seeing on 2024s and the return of decent interest rates this looks like an opportunity. I like the...
  11. 2025 Bronco Sport Scheduled for Production

As a veteran of multiple Ford orders, I hope you get it by Christmas, but I would be shocked if you did. Production by the week of 12/2 means that: they will start production of that scheduled batch of Sports that week. By the end of the week (12/7) they would have generally finished all...
  12. Any BS’s out there that haven’t had any issues??

Had mine since March 2023. Nothing at all to report.
  13. Good deal on 24 sport bb???

I paid right at $30k with the Granger 4% under invoice back in March 2023. The deal is good. I've seen courtesy BB in DFW being sold for $24k. The bottom has fallen out for BB pricing in the market. OBX is basically priced at what BB used to be - around $32k-$34k. Only the Badlands retains any...
  14. More on the 2025 Bronco Sport

Man, Ford has been doing just fine with the twin turbos in their F-150s since 2010. Both 3.5L and 2.7L are workhorse engines and especially with the 2.7L, quite reliable. Any bad press related to F-150 reliability of recent focuses on the hybrid platforms first couple of years (which were...
  15. More on the 2025 Bronco Sport

I have a client that manages a Ford dealership. He said that one of the biggest items of customer interest is screen size. 8" doesn't cut anymore with the average consumer. I don't care about the screen size, but I would like the wireless carplay that will come with Sync 4.
  16. Farewell all and thank you!

I have a Ford dealer client and I asked him if they were really going for these prices and he said they were. He told me the market bottomed on the Sport as most ppl who wanted them already bought them. He hopes the refresh will restore demand, but now he says he is selling BB without the...
  17. Farewell all and thank you!

In reality it is not a mid-$40s vehicle. Ford upped the MSRP but they can be had cheaper now than when I was looking at the end of 2022: And for those who would ask why would anyone get a Big Bend right now if Badlands cost that much? It's that Big Bends cost so damn little:
  18. Tire Sidewall Crack - what would you do?

The bigger problem you will have is that the OEM Falken Wildpeaks AT3W 235/65/17 are out of production. They are still hanging around at Discount Tire for now, but they have been reduced to $156 a tire. Falken moved onto the AT4W and the tread patttern is different and they don't make an OEM...
  19. Farewell all and thank you!

I rented a Passport Trailsport oddly enough in California earlier this year. I thought it was wild that they even acquired the Trailsport trim for a rental fleet. I really enjoyed driving it for 4 days. Very fun vehicle.
