  1. 2nd Gen Bronco Sport Spy Shots?

I don’t like the seeming squared off look. I much prefer the Look of the current design. Making it more square would be less distinctive. I don’t want it to look just like a smaller version of the bigger Bronco. I can’t help but think of the current Hyundai Sante Fe. It’s atrociously ugly...
  2. Do You Suffer from Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon?

We reach--I don't like the black roof either. One of the reasons I went for the Big Bend over the Outer Banks was because I didn't like the black roof.
  3. Do You Suffer from Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon?

Can’t say I’m more aware or see more of them around me now than I did before. I would think about the same.
  4. Future of Ford Infotainment Systems

You like it, fine. I can’t stand it. Then again I don’t for infotainment systems either.
  5. Future of Ford Infotainment Systems

Sorry, but I hate Android. I find it a nightmare.
  6. New 2024 Bronco Sport owner...

    After a quick wash.
  7. Future of Ford Infotainment Systems

Something based on Android doesn’t inspire me with confidence.
  8. Something new, but when.

It would be interesting if you could buy just the features you want rather than being forced to take everything. The number one complaint new car buyers have with contemporary vehicles is feeling overwhelmed with all the electronics and intrusive info screen and digital displays. And it’s made...
  9. The One That Got Away

I’m still second guessing letting go of my 2004 CrownVic.
  10. Something new, but when.

No, thank you. I want my car to look like a car, not an oversized iPad which many of them look like already.
  11. Say hello to Telo…

It has its own charm. I think it looks kinda funky. It’s certainly thinking outside the box.
  12. Say hello to Telo…

Say hello to Telo, a very interesting small truck slated for production in 2026/27. I find this more interesting than the Slate truck concept.
  13. So What Did You Learn to Drive In?

1050 CHUM (rock and pop) and 1310 CFGM (country) both out of Toronto. When I was young I listened to rock and pop as well as some country given Dad had the radio in his car tuned always to CFGM. Dad driving his ā€˜66 Galaxie or ā€˜73 Meteor while listening to country music is burned into my brain...
  14. The One That Got Away

I always wanted a ā€˜79 Volkswagen Scirocco. In ā€˜79 I bought a new Volkswagen Rabbit L 2dr. with 4spd. manual in Diamond Silver Metallic. I really wanted a Scirocco and could have had one if I’d spent about $1000 more. But I was trying to be more responsible by spending less. Mind you I really...
  15. So What Did You Learn to Drive In?

Beautiful car, as so many of them were then. Yeah, in every age there meh run-of-the-mill designs that are eminently forgettable, but a lot of them then were something to behold. They were styled and designed primarily by hand rather than computer. There is also a great irony to these old cars...
  16. So What Did You Learn to Drive In?

Before my Dad had his '73 Mercury he had a very nice '66 Ford Galaxy 2dr. fastback, black with red interior and 289 V8. I was much too young to have learned to drive on that car, but my brother (7 years older) learned to drive on the '66. Dad’s car was similar to this.
  17. So What Did You Learn to Drive In?

    1973 Mercury Meteor 4dr with 400 V8.
  18. May get back into the fold

I also prefer the grille on my 2024 BB to that of the 2025 BB. Today I saw a Ruby Red 2025 Bronco Sport and while I like it I still prefer the Hot Pepper Red of my 2024. I guess I bought at the right time. :like:
  19. New 2024 Bronco Sport owner...

    Different view.
  20. May get back into the fold

Yeah, we disagree on the screen. We agree on not liking so many controls in the screen and the loss of physical switches. The silver metal trim on the front and rear of the Badlands is meh, I don’t really care for it. They could have still put the metal there but made it black and it wouldn’t...
