I wouldn't and won't run any CAI on my BL. I feel on these cars its a waste. On my 2024 BMW M2 BMC filters are worth 9rwhp on my G87. I went from 462-471rwhp with just the BMC filters. BMW rates these cars at 453hp, my ass.
I keep telling people when it comes to these cars get the 2.0L. When it was the Escape, the Fusion or any other car that had these 1.5-1.6L Ecoboost engines is 95% of the issues. Dont even get me started on the 1.0L Ecoboost engine that was in the Focus.
I am considering it, but I feel I will never ever use the full capabilities of the Bronco. The BS BL I currently have is more than capable enough to be in my current bandwith. Not to mention on road performance is so much worse than a BS BL with its 2.0L engine.
No, its not unfortunately. Whats nice about this tool it can also do limited data logging, read and clear DTC's. Its for those of us who already have this tool from having a Ford Performance tune from other vehicles.
Just an FYI, Ford Performance told me that my Mustang ProCal tool should be able to do this on the Bronco Sport. Sure enough, plugged it in and it let me access that menu as well as able to read for any DTC codes. I didn't try anything else.
