I hate to say it buy locks only keep honest people out. Sadly have had many friends with wheel locks and still found their car on bricks the next day. Locks certainly help deter thieves!
I had the RDU issue start in my OBX right before I decided there was one too many issues popping up with the 1.5 BS models. I traded up to a 23 BSBL. Its sad it just seems like they through the worst parts into the lower trims. I am very happy now and fingers crossed problem free with 13k in my...

I find that the forums and the internet in general is CRAZY with the BS Badlands. Its a great machine don't get me wrong. I have a OBX Edition and I did test drive the BSBL before I made the purchase. Now many of the features had been EXCELLENT! I just found the OBX better for the average person...
I'd for sure say its less of the badlands due to the volume of badlands sold vs the rest of the 1.5s that's a good hunch! I will say my OBX can be a little jerky but it feels overall nice in how it drives. We picked fords to daily drive, if we wanted the perfect car we'd go with anyone else...
I do have to say one thing, they use the same 8F35 Transmission! So its not exclusive to the 1.5L. The Badlands and the rest of the BS's aren't as different as you hoped.
