  1. Something new, but when.

Hmmmm, I'm torn on this....Good info Steve, and appreciate the topic. As you may have seen previously, I am dead against anything that distracts a driver's attention from actually driving and the deletion of tactile controls for vehicle operation, which in my opinion is a huge safety issue. As...
  2. Left Rear Running light not illuminated. I was told by Ford Service Rep. That I have to replace the entire unit, which I did still not lighting up, a

I see you're in Thunder Bay, drop by Pinewood Ford, I'm sure they could find you an answer PDQ.
  3. SLATE Truck revealed as modular SUV & Pickup. Priced under $20K after incentive

Got me there, I do like my tunes while I drive. We're lucky up here to see a basic EV for anything under $40k these days, and yes the range is definately a draw back. Nothing in the truck market for near that cheap here right now.
  4. SLATE Truck revealed as modular SUV & Pickup. Priced under $20K after incentive

Too many electric options = Less range due to use and added weight. And besides, vehicles these days have swung way too far into the tech and infotainment area leading to distraction and more service complications. I don't even use half of the stuff my BB has. I'm good with the basics...
  5. SLATE Truck revealed as modular SUV & Pickup. Priced under $20K after incentive

Reminds me of the Bollinger B1 and B2 that never got off the ground when the company switched it's focus to commercial vehicles m only
  6. Fluid Change Transmission

There's 3 plugs you need to access, a couple good videos on YouTube explain it really well
  7. Bronco Sport Headlight Replacement

Hi Travis, Haven't done one myself (yet), but I have seen a lot of comments stating the front grille assembly needs to come off for access, sorry I can't help further.
  8. Bronco Sport Headlight Replacement

There is no "bulb" assembly that is user replaceable, the headlamp assembly must be replaced as an entire component according to the parts listings. These LEDs have a very long lifespan rating and it's rare to have one fail so soon, I would check your fuses first prior to heading to a...
  9. 🌅 Show Us Your Sunset Moments – Let’s Chase the Sun Together! 🌞

Best trip so far, as posted previously, these are a couple of pics we shot while testing a camper-trailer which we have since purchased (and eagerly awaiting it's completion). Trip north on BC's Sunshine Coast to Sechelt and Porpoise Bay provincial park, can't wait to head back with our new...
  10. Window switch peeling off

Mine were replaced under warranty with no questions from the dealer last fall.
  11. Coat hanger clip on back seat handle

Can't be re-seated, it's molded in place, needs to be replaced as an assembly (Had to do that on mine). Fortunately, under warranty at the time.
  12. Why did you choose a Bronco Sport?

My partner and I both had Ford Escapes, a 2006 and a 2009, we were looking for a direct replacement to that class of vehicle and the new escape was a radical departure from the true SUV design. Seeing the early discussions on the Bronco Sport as the true replacement for the legacy Escape, we had...
  13. New Tires at 35000 miles

Check out Nokian One tire, 60k tread warranty and best wet condition tire I've ever had, smooth and quiet. It's the only brand I use now and for the last 15 years.
  14. Help Needed For a Project!

Honestly, stop with the critical systems integration and give me tactile controls back. In my opinion, the screen is a safety issue for other than navigation and I would prefer to have physical control that I don't have to look at to activate. HVAC, defrost, temperature, should never be in the...
  15. Winding/spooling noise when stopped.

Other than the LED fans, I would have no idea. Perhaps there is an issue with the fan relay that you might want to have checked out with the dealer
  16. Winding/spooling noise when stopped.

It's the LED headlight fans, they kick in whenever the courtesy electrical system is still active or after ignition off delay. Normal operation
  17. moaning brakes on 2021 Big Bend Sport

Wow, my dealer reached out as soon as the parts were in, about 2 weeks after the TSB was published!
  18. moaning brakes on 2021 Big Bend Sport

True enough Curt, not a "Safety" issue and after the TSB and the recall fix, I haven't had any issues with the rear brake moan recurring and I am in a cold climate winter and high humidity summer region.
  19. moaning brakes on 2021 Big Bend Sport

That truly sounds like another dealer issue, perhaps see if the dealer has performed the required NHTSA Recall: https://www.nhtsa.gov/?nhtsaId=21V922000
