No doubt, 100% agree. I was just attempting to make a point. The Bronco Sport is a great vehicle regardless if it is a 25K Base or the 40k Badlands. There so much talking down on the non Badlands/FE, that it's always good to remember your personal price point and not be swayed by some random...
I feel like half of the threads now are ruined by a 2.0 owner pissing on peoples decisions to purchase a 1.5L. 1.5L satisfies my needs, 2.0 satisfies yours...who cares. I paid cash for mine which I couldn't have done stepping up to a Badlands. Financial responsibility, especially in todays...
Indeed, I did. Those pics were the closest that the skid and the bracket would get.
I'm going to send this over to HRG also. I doubt I'd be the only one to ever have this issue.
Yesterday I attempted to install the HRG mid skid, but ran into some issues and had to remove it for now.
I am not sure if something on the skid/rear bracket was out of spec. Or if between my BB, the skid and the bracket I ran into some extreme tolerance stacking, but I was left with about a...
I would say that is a pretty accurate statement.
For cost of travel I kept track of my fuel and toll expenses over that time, just for my own personal curiosity. I averaged around $500 a month in gas and $200 a month in tolls.
Then factor in your mental cost of dealing with lunatic Houston...
For 4 years I drove 95ish miles a day across Houston. My Focus ST racked up the miles way too fast. That was usually an hour drive in the morning, and hour-45 (assuming no wreck) on the drive home.
However, my commute for the last 3 years is 1 mile. 1/2 mile to work, and the long 1/2 mile...
I've had these on my BB for about 3,000 miles. Its been night and day difference for the better, as far as seating position. I had the same feeling of sliding forward before adding the shims.
Spent last week driving around the Texas Hill Country. We spent almost a full day of just driving and seeing country, and a few days visiting state parks. I left the Sony at home and went all film for this trip. Once I get them developed I will make a new post showing the Bronco’s adventures.
We are driving out to the hill country next week. Staying in Marble Falls. We're planning on spending a day driving some of the Hill Country Overland Route, then a few days visiting some of the state parks that are out that way. It really is a fantastic area of this state.
When I had my Focus ST I would monitor the engine performance with the Cobb Accessport and note which stations would cause timing pulls or knocks. Shell gas ALWAYS ran the best for me. I never had any timing being pulled when I ran Shell 93. The only time I would go elsewhere is when I would...
I have the rack below. Good price and no issues. A few buddies of mine use the same rack and they also have only positive things to say.

*Edit to say that a few days ago I posted a picture with the rack and bikes. You can find it on my profile.
Got up and out of Houston early to do a little night time driving around the Sam Houston forest. Parked at this pasture to watch the sun come up. Deer running all around, never saw another human. Excellent Sunday morning.
