  1. Thinking of trading in our 2022 Badlands for a 2025 Badlands...

Who knew goats could growl? In my case, Sport mode has a distinctly Subie sound. Weird. Maybe it’s because itā€˜s holding the lower gears longer and I’m just not used to hearing it rev out.

  3. Bronco white lettering

I used PlastiDip on the wheels of a previous car. It was on for years without issues!

No access panel in the skid plate? Bummer!
  5. Said Goodbye to the BS BB Today

That’s only a fraction of the actual cost of the swap. What about depreciation, taxes, etc.

  7. Said Goodbye to the BS BB Today

Enjoy the Maverick! Considering the close relationship between the Maverick and Sport, I’m curious why you didn’t move to a different brand instead?
  8. angle of windshield fluid reservoir

Whatever doesn’t fit in the BS goes in the other car.
  9. 2025 Mirror Dashcam Power Adapter Recommendations

I used an OBD to USB cable like this. Wasn’t too bad running the it from near the review mirror down to the OBD port.
  10. Handling and Body Roll

My BSBL handles twisty roads much better than my previous Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, and a lot of that just comes down to the BS having a lighter curb weight. In general, an off-road focused vehicle is going to wallow in the turns unless you’ve got some sort of electronically adjustable...
  11. Rear cargo retractable cover

If buying the one from eBay, keep in mind that it’s coming from China, so you may end up paying a lot more than the listed price.
  12. I want a manual transmission

Neat idea, but if you’re worried about cost I think selling your BS and buying a manual full-size will be way cheaper overall. And you could have it tomorrow.
  13. 2 1/4 inch lift installed.

Looks nice! Seems like you lost a lot of breakover clearance with those sliders, is it possible to find a more integrated option?
  14. Replaced worn out Falkens with Toyo Open Country A/T III

I had the Toyo AT3 on my Jeep GC Trailhawk and my results are the same as you described. Louder on the highway and comfortable overall ride. Never had an issue with them off road, though they did cost me a few mpg on the highway.
  15. Black Out Mods

    And the brake calipers!
  16. Low MPG

Is the stop-start doing it’s thing? Lots of people hate it but it will have a positive impact on mpg when it’s working. My last tank was 19 and it was all local commute. A bit of freeway time will bump it up. My guess is you’ll see better mpg on your return trip from Tehachapi to SD because...

  18. Nice Badlands Feature

    And so it begins…
  19. I'm out, traded for a 2025 RAV4

Yup, there’s guaranteed to be a lemon in every box of lemons... Good luck OP! I unloaded a Jeep for the same reason as you- lost trust after too many issues and unsatisfactory dealership visits. Vehicles are the most complex items most of us own, so there is always a chance that we get unlucky.
