I haven't really noticed a significant difference. Possibly a tiny bit stiffer, but that could be my imagination. Not enough of a difference that I even think about it after almost a month of use.
Thanks! This is the kit: https://www.hrgoffroad.com/1-5-inch-38mm-lift-kit-for-2021-2024-ford-bronco-sport/
I would say it’s perhaps more level than stock, but still appears to have slight rake, which I’m fine with. The spacers in front are slightly taller than rear.
Thanks for that! I had to figure all of this out a few months ago when I found out the trailer I was buying had a 7 pin connector and I only had the stock 4 pin on the vehicle. Hopefully that diagram helps others in the same situation!
Correct, but if converting from 4 to 7 pin without also wiring the 12v power to the battery or installing a brake controller, you will only get Tail/Running Lights, Turn Signals/Brake lights through the plug. That is how mine is set up since my trailer has a 7 pin connector, but I don't need...
My teardrop trailer uses a 7 pin connector, which I tow with my BS Badlands. I had to install a 4 --> 7 pin adapter to connect. I don't have it wired for power or brakes though. Some day I'd like to wire up for 12v power, but I don't need brakes.
Maybe stating the obvious, but the wiring is "hot", but only for brake/signal lights. If you wanted to to add 12V power + brakes you would need to convert to 7 pin and make the other necessary changes (wire to battery for power. +brake controller, etc.)
I considered the Maverick Hybrid when I upgraded from my OBX to current Badlands, but the lack of AWD was a deal breaker for me. If they ever come out with an AWD hybrid version, it would be compelling to me, but maybe by then they'll have a Hybrid BS with AWD!
Similar trajectory for me. I originally had a 21 OBX and loved everything about it except for the engine. Traded it in for a 23 Badlands and now it has everything o want with only exception of no Adaptive Cruise. Could have tried harder to find one with copilot + but the timing and price were...
Nice to see a post like this since 90% of forum posts are typically negative. Glad yours is working out well for you! I’ve had 1 mechanical issue so far, but hoping it was an anomaly and won’t return.
Thanks, this is very helpful info. I haven’t had the issue since getting back from the dealer about a month ago, though as I said I haven’t really pushed it since then since I just broke past the 1300 mile mark. Although I haven’t had the issue pop-up again, I’m afraid it might if put in similar...
I had an annoying and potentially troubling issue happen with my new 2023 BS Badlands on a recent trip:
L.A. to Vegas trip, with approx. 1000 miles on the Odometer. I was trying to take it easy as per the engine break-in instructions, but at one point in the trip, going uphill on the freeway in...
