  1. Let's see your rear or side window stickers!

I don't have a picture of it packed, unfortunately. I use the space to hold a tool roll, an air kit (if I don't expect to air down), and an airbag jack, since the factory scissor jack isn't tall enough or stable enough on many trails. But even if I wasn't using that space, I'd still opt for the...
  2. Let's see your rear or side window stickers!

Dirtcom Trail Swing. I made a post a while back showing clearance.
  3. Speedometer Calibration With Larger / Bigger Tires?

Modern speedometers are plenty accurate as long as they know the actual circumference of the wheels they're measuring. You'll experience variation as the temperature of your tires changes (ideal gas law), but I speculate temperature changes will have a greater impact on pressure than volume...
  4. Speedometer Calibration With Larger / Bigger Tires?

Your AWD module should appear in your DTC list (among a ton of other modules). I would recommend deleting your vehicle profile and making a fresh one. The relearn functions will be on the "Configuration and Programming" screen. Referencing the below image, click the button boxed in red. Then...
  5. Speedometer Calibration With Larger / Bigger Tires?

It's an easy DIY. You just need FORScan set up with a compatible OBDII cable. If memory serves, you go into the BdyCM module and find something about tire circumference, then write your new circumference, save the module, then relearn the PCM and AWD modules. You might have to do the AWD module...
  6. Speedometer Calibration With Larger / Bigger Tires?

The PCM relearn function was fixed about a year ago. You can successfully correct your tire circumference now.
  7. Let's see your rear or side window stickers!

Just stickers from a few of the places we've visited.
  8. OEM Replacement Valve Stem Caps

That and they're not long enough. I have a package of like 50 of these little cheap dust covers and originally put them on. The factory caps extend all the way to the rubber neck of the valve stem and butt up against it. These don't, leaving like a 1/8" ring of brass showing. Plus they don't...
  9. OEM Replacement Valve Stem Caps

Lol I think the only stupid thing in here is taking the time to shit on something that's apparently not for you. It's okay to skip the threads you don't like, no one will ban you. Trust me, I do it all the time.
  10. OEM Replacement Valve Stem Caps

Yup, almost as silly as complaining about posts about valve stem caps.
  11. OEM Replacement Valve Stem Caps

Forgot a couple after airing back up.
  12. OEM Replacement Valve Stem Caps

Yeah bedazzled valve stem caps aren't really my thing. Sometimes boring is best!
  13. OEM Replacement Valve Stem Caps

Boring post, but thought some might be interested down the line. I found perfect replacement valve stem dust caps on Amazon. They're indistinguishable from what my wheels had from the factory and arrived next-day (though DFW has distribution centers all over the place, so YMMV)...
  14. HRG Lift Caution

Evidently mine is the only documented case of interference from the thicker link ends.
  15. Cheap Homelink

    Glad you found it useful!
  16. Air pump recommendations...

I fabricated a mounting plate from sheet steel and used the mounting bracket that came with the compressor. I used M6 rivnuts and bolts to install the mounting plate in the fender.
  17. Air pump recommendations...

Exactly this. People use those el cheapo 12V oulet compressors for 20+ minutes straight. That's a good way to melt your compressor before you're done using it. The ARB single is certainly overkill for our small tires, but it gets the job done fast and I don't have to worry about duty cycle...
  18. Air pump recommendations...

Whatever style you're interested in, look for short power leads and a long hose rather than long leads and a short hose. It's more efficient to compress a long hose and maintain that pressure than it is for electricity to flow through a long cord. Heavy gauge wire will also help reduce power...
