Good luck but I doubt they're going to do diddly squat about it. It's NOT right but that's Ford for you. The latest fix actually came out in October when I had mine fixed. It's been 4 months now and not a beep. I thank this forum for the heads up.
Well it's been over a month now and the moan is still gone. It's been rainy and cold the last few days and the brakes are fine. If it were to do it this morning when I backed out of the driveway would have been the day. I was almost half expecting it. lol Just hope it lasts.
Totally agree. I've always figured that dealers make more from used cars than new ones. I once had a girl friend who bought a new Mercury and traded in her used Topaz on a 1/2 hr LUNCH BREAK ! She was totally taken to the cleaners. They must have drooled when they saw her coming in by herself.
I didn't notice any difference in the brakes as far as being firmer. It's been very rainy and in the upper 30's here in Buffalo and so far so good as far as the moaning sound. This fix I had done a month ago seems to have done the trick. ( knock knock)

I just called my Ford Dealership about this latest TSB on the moaning brakes. Dealer told me they have to look at it 1st then submit it to Ford to see if it's covered in my particular case. They do that on a case by case basis. I'm taking it in Thursday at 9am. I will give everyone an update...
