    This other "gizmo" you speak of is called AutoStop Eliminator. I had one installed in my 2023 Badlands, 5 min install, worked great. Have it for sale now as I no longer need it.

    Mark have to disagree slightly, unless your phone and service provider is free, then your maps are not free. It just comes with the cost of your plan.

    WOW I have had the same thing happen on my 2023 Badlands, I thought it was just me hitting the button accidentally as I was opening the hatch door, or I was becoming that old man people talk about!!! Woo hoo it isn’t me, I thought I was giving up my sanity.
