The Bronco Sport is my wife's, in the past she had an 85 Bronco II, & has had 3 Explorer Sports so it just seemed a good replacement for the Explorer Sport & she liked it.
I am sorry I misread your response, yes, we had the battery replaced, but we had to pay for it & will be reimbursed if battery replacement is the remedy from Ford. We are out of the 3/36-mile warranty.
Ford states in the recall letter they do not have a "fix" for it yet, whether it is a battery or a software update who knows. In the letter Ford states the "fix" will be available in the 2nd quarter of this year. If the recall does turn out to be replacing the battery I should be reimbursed.
My wife's 2021 BB died in our driveway yesterday. She took our cat to the vet & came back home, when we tried 10 minutes later the truck was completely dead. We were able to jump start it & drive it to the local dealer. They recommended the AGM battery since our BS had the EFM battery. We will...
Correct, it is not a safety issue. We had the first TSB done & it did not fix the noise. It does not bother us & we will address it when we need to replace the rear brake pads.
We bought our 21 Bronco Sport in NC that does not require a front license plate. I had to buy a front bracket from our local dealer & I mounted the bracket to the front bumper using self-tapping screws.
The dealer we bought our BS/BB from had it listed on their website as incoming. They called us when it arrived and we went & drove it & bought it on the spot.
